Well, there you have a point... I was going to say they need a sending or sumthing, but that won't work because people get send because they would turn into fiends... Ermz... Maybe it has something to do with the willpower or sumthing? -.-' I mean, almost off of those spiritual guys are dead too there, so maybe it has something to do with wheter they want to be sent? I also recall a stry on Tidus' mum who died but went astray herself, because nobody sent her. Maybe it's up to you if you want to linger in the world or be sent? Well that must've been confusing...

Well, I can;t imagine living in a world with sum huge black beast destroying everything, stuffed with monsters tearing all you beloved ones apart, not to mention the presence of Hypello's is very nice...

But seriously, no, ofcourse not everyone would want to die, but once you dead there would be the choice of going to the Farplane or staying on Spira as a spirit. The Farplane was very nice if I remember correctly, so most people want to go there. Maybe thats when you turn into a fiend: Wanting to go to farplane but not being sent.

The reason Auron exists is because when he died he went to the farplane where the pyreflies joined to create his image but somehow he crossed the line from the farplane to Tidus' dream world. And returned back to spira.

People went to the fareplane if they got sent or accepted death but as Auron had made a promise then he didn't accept death nor was he jealous of the dead so he didn't become a fiend either

auron died but a "powerful emotion" kept him on earth as with Jyscal when he almost escapes the far plane. I dont know how far to go with this because of spoilers, but Belgamine died get sent either and stayed humanish, because she wanted to help summoners, Lady Ginem(sp) didnt either (no idea y) and theres Seymore, who wanted to destory ("save") spira, so powerful emotions. also tidus' mum "accepted" death and dealt with it so she went to farplane.

Fiends are made up of pireflies becoming angry at dying or something. I forget exactly but Lulu explains after you first fight sin on that boat.

Basically, Auron was never sent, just like how Seymour was never sent.

Thus, Auron could walk around Spira/Zanarkand like some kind of badass.

This is just a educated guess but maybe Sin kept him alive to help Tidus on his journey.

She was never sent but she went to the farplane because of her will. She didn't become astray or whatever.

LOL, it all makes sensce to me. u see someone dies they are jelious of the living, then that jelousy turns into envy, then envy turns into hate, then thats when they become fiends.

Oh and tidus' mom accepted her death while she was still living, because she belive that jecht died when he went out to sea to train...

Tidus is a dream copy of Shuyin (who appears in X-2), brought into semi-reality by teh pyreflies to aid what'sername on her quest. Yuna, Yuna on her quest... The Jascal bit confused me, and I'm still not sure why Auron buckled over when Jascal came through the farplane.. can someone explain that to me?

Meh. Jecht as Sin allowed Auron to travel to the dream of the fayth and bring Tidus to Spira so Tidus could kill Sin.

Becuase when a person dies and are not sent then they begin to envy the living and become fiends if they are not sent. The only way that Auron is dead and still be somwhat human is that he did not begin to envy the living or maybe he had something he still had to do, like go Zanarkand and watch over Tidus and become Yunas guardian if she became a summoner. This was mostly said in the game

just remember what lulu's said to tidus in kilika. she said if the souls who had died and do not accept it's death and they had an anger on it, they would become a fiend. And i think, auron doesn't have an anger on his death beside he had a promise to fullfill and no one ever perform a sending for him, so he could just 'live' in spira just like maester mika, maechen, and seymour. Am i right? hikz, i don't know.
by the way, i had finished ffx a long time ago and i've played it again for 5 times more, hehehe, i sure love this game....but it's hard for me to defeat omega....is there someone who could help me.....plssssss.

In the game it says that beings with a strong bond to something in Spira can retain their souls and walk around as the living, like Mika and Seymour did. Also remember that if somebody is killed by Sin directly, that they're sort of enslaved by sin, and instantly become part of sin (sinspawn if you will) so are not allowed to roam the earth. Since Auron was killed by Yunalesca, and actually made it back to Bevelle before actually dying, he was able to become a living spirit.
