hey everybody im new to the forums but i have a question concerning my gameing should i start playing ff online or save my money for a ps3???

i'm trying to break down the question and trying to come up with the reason behind it. cause it doesn't make sense to me.

unless ffo is gonna be on the ps3, then i can understand the dillema is like...play it now or play it later? (same game diffrent systems).

assuming this is the case, i say.......... i have no idea. lol.

lol wii is my first option for sure, thing is sony and microsoft are obviously just trying to outshow each other, and when this happens. the fun ends. people graphics and capability do not make games great. nintendo will always be no.1 to me cause they focus on fun creative games more than anything.

as for FF online, it doesnt matter if everyone else starts playing ps3 online games instead, FFXI is pc, ps2 and xbox 360 and is enjoyed by thousands and thousands of people, i just recently stopped playing cause it doesnt appeal to me anymore. if i were to choose between a new pretty ps3 and ffXI atm i would choose ps3, but i could get addicted again =/

as if every pair has the 3rd "special" edition version of a diffrent color. which emerald is. its got a bunch of stuff ruby/sapph didn't. :p yellow just let you choose pikachu first. and crystal let you choose between boy/girl main char.

i'm pretty sure pearl/diamond will have its 3rd special edition as well. maybe the'll make it opal/garnet or some fancy thingy. :p maybe topaz. lol

i don't know. i too kinda hated all the new ones cause for some reason, the new pokemon aren't as cool as the old pokemon. they're just so....diffrent. O_o

Most of them are slightly different variations of the same game, so it just depends on what you count as a "version." But the different-colored versionso f the same game aren't designed to have replay value, they are to make interactions between players more interesting. If you were playing the same game over and over again no wonder you got bored. :O

I used to be interested in the Wii, until I saw all the fanboys of it jumping on every single bit of negative press the PS3 got to try and make it look like the Wii is superior on all fronts. Now it's just an "Eh, I'll buy it eventually" thing.

Personally, I think all three consoles are going to be ass kicking gaming consoles, but I'm only going to buy the Wii and the PS3, because all I need to do to get my PC to support the PC versions of the good games being made for the 360 is upgrade my video card.

:smrt: I think you should play Final Fantasy online. Don't wait for the PS3. You'll have plenty of time for that later.

the wii is way better plus the price comparrason is wii max price is �180 while the Ps3 will cost �425
