R.I.P
Pink Floyd were a truly awesome band. One of the few bands that played slow-paced songs that I actually enjoyed.

R.I.P.
That's ironic. I've been on a Pink Floyd kick the past few days, but I had no idea one of the old members died. :(

Shine On, Brick in the Wall, Hey You and Money ftw.
I always thought they were pretty boring.
Too bad he died though. I hear he was the creative one.

I always thought they were pretty boring.
That is an understatement.
Not that I'm glad he's dead or anything, but yeah.

I noticed, Bryan has quite the taste for 80s stuff.
Not that it's a bad thing but just something to make note of.

Indeed I do, you odious little woman! Much of Pink Floyds music was from the 60's and 70's ftr. Their best album, The Wall came out in 1979. Close enough to the 80's I suppose.

Gotcha, that's like everyone considering 'Video Killed the Radio Star' by The Buggles, 80s music when it was released in 1979.
What's with the odious little woman thing? It's starting to get old.

That's correct.

No it isn't. It will never get old. It sums you up in a neat little package so well!

I liked some of Pink Floyd's stuff, but I cannot say they were one of my favorites.

It will get old when you prove you understand the term.

great songs off great albums, but im sure you know syd was not in the band when all these songs came out. these are when david gilmour replaced syd and roger waters starting doing all the lyrics/songwriting. this started with darkside of the moon.
to me "wish you were here" is my favorite album, its a progressive rock gem
