I like alot of the job classes, mainly the Holy Knights and the Lancers.

My favorite Job is Oracle. They're good with magic and with physical attacks, and status ailments are fun. :)

Calculators....well...when you get lucky

My fav. job is the Arc Knight, because of the hp level at level 99.

Why ? well...
Monk has realy nice spells and ability's and the priest got very powerfull magic, also dragoon is realy great.
I like the way he use his lance ^_^;

No doubt about mine. Lancer. And if it was a special class, I'd say Holy Knight, Agrais was my fave chara, and that was what she was so....

I like the Knight class and the summoner classes. Because Knight has the items breaking abilities., and the summoners are very strong on high level.:cool:

lancers and monks, no competition

I like the ninja class, one because they're the closest thing you can get to assassins as a playable job. Other then that samurai because with blade grasp and high enough brave gives you the ability to ignore most physical attacks.

Either engineer with break abilities (long distance breaking...oh, the possibilities) or a Calculator with a Mime in the group. I've found that Cloud is the best calculator, his magic attack is quite high, and its just fun to have him be in your party =)

Long Range:
Archer + Perseus(sp?) Bow + Break Skills = BOOM!

Im hoping that also adding Concentrate ups the percentage for a break, but I doubt it.

Close Range:
Samurai + Teleport (Or Teleport2 ) = Elmdor Clone

Or

Samurai + Chirijiarden + Two Hands + Teleport (2) = Call a medic.

N'uff Said.

Actually, I like Beowulf's temple night ability. It's kind of like and oracle with power. I know not many people say this, but i've never been known to follow the crowd

Beowulf rules man! His temple knight skills almost never miss, making him argueably more valuable than Orlandu. (I never use Orlandu because he is too powerfull!)

Beowulf is so cool! I wish they had more characters like him. Maybe instead of Reis' dragoner abilities she should have maybe some sort of lancer version of what Beowulf has! I also like meliadoul because she can wreak havok on the playing field as long as they are humans, even though orlandu has those abilities too.....

Orlandu is a holy swordsman. But don't worry, i had to look it up.

*Note* I don't believe there is such thing as too powerful, Orlandu is not the cheapest tho. A wizard with the math skill and holy is so cheap it isn't funny. If you have chameleon robes it has the potential to clear the whole battlefield and heal your characters. Now that's cheap!

Id have to say my fav class is the lancer class. They look cool and do lots of dmg. I wish Ramza could become a Special knight class though. Oh well. I think they should make a FFT with Balbanes(Was that Ramzas dad?) It would be the prior war. 50 years War I believe?

Actually, Ramza's squire class is a lot better than some of the other classes. Who else can raise brave or speed ratings in battle without the use of MP? Ramza also gets a huge status boost.
I love the Lancer! My favorite class besides beowulf. And Balbanes would be such a cool character to have. I mean, what kind of abilities could a heavenly knight have?

wizard..theif..summoner..these r my favs for sure.

I like the Ninja class (just because you could use 2 swords when you add it to either knight, and Geomancer), Lancer class(Death from Above!), Dancer(keep her from harm, and let her keep attacking with the "lower speed to all enemies" attack:cool:), and Heavenly Knight (although Orlandu "Cid," is way too strong.)

I kinda like the Calculator class, ONLY 'cause you can some times either cure/revive all your party, or attack enemies with magic, without using MP!

I like samurais cause they are cool and stuff. And they have cool powers and swords. ;)

i actually have a saved game of fft that i haven't played in a while. but anyway, when i beat the game the first time i had ramza as a squire but with the ninja 2 swords ability and the monk chakra and wave fist. so basically, he's a squire (can wear decent armor) that can raise status of other characters, attack from afar (wave fist), heal (chakra), and is a monster in close combat with 2 good swords.

the only bad thing with ninjas is their weak hit points and low armor class. so i normally hang around long enough to get the 2 swords ability and then switch to a knight. gives you a knight with 2 swords. a real killing machine.

monks are good too, and so are samurais.

After playing through the game again(This time I got Genji, Zodiac, Chaos Swords, all good items) I like my mediator the best. She has Master mediator, and calculating skills. She has Escutcheon(Good one) Thundergun, Feather mantle, Robe of Lords, thief hat. She pretty much cant be hit and is much fun to play. Ramza is probably best as squire with Chaos sword, but also good at lancer if you have the upgraded javelin. TG Cid with the Chaos sword is way to powerful, but then again so are those damn hydras. I got my guys to level 99 using archery at NOGIAS, very easy to do and somewhat fun.

Wizard, with Math Skills!
It'll take a while to master Calculator, but I think it's worth it.

Get Math skills, and master every spell from Priest, Oracle, and (especially)Wizard, and you can Destroy the enemy like nothing!

I like it way better than Holy Swordsman.

My second fav class would have to be a modified Ramza. He would have the maximillion and the grand helmet. TWO chaos swords (aquiered with a code) as a squier, he'll have extra life. But samurais still have my vote.

I would say my favorite would be a samurai with white magic secondary skills, as well as blade grasp and move +3 from the bard or thief. An unstoppable warrior.

I love anything that uses magic;) also I want a mime or nija/samuri:alien:

man he a unstopable force in the deep dungeon.

Obviously, Wizard, with mastered Math Skills and learned Holy is an overkiller; but, my preference lies with Ninjas, or Monks with Two Swords ability.

My favs are definitely samurai and holy night with monk punch art abilities, just so damn cool, not sure why.

my favorite class is probably ramza's squire. what i always tend to do, as overpowering it may/may not be, is squire up right off the bat, then thief up, then ninja

thief provides ramza with excellent speed(as though he lacked it in the first place), and then gets him more turns to run around pumping everyone up or healing. then i go in and start having him increase the attack... the boy is unstopable. i used this "combo" to make ramza so fast during the ultra tough wiegraf fight (wiegraf and velius i think is the fight-dungeon, gargoyle thingies) anyway, wiegraf normally deals a good amount of damage, and the point is to out damage him first. i simply chose from the first time out not to do it that way, so i do my hasted thief ninja squire jazz, and ramza ends up getting so many turns in a row, he can heal every time he is hit, because its been like five times since the last shot. finally, take wiegraf out in one hit. then when he transforms with zodiac stone, slash him again, instant win.

no other combo can beat it one on one(group is best with wizard calculators-good call all who found out that one)

My faves are Ninja and monk. :o

I think the best is any physical class with these abilities. Blade Grasp(with 97 brave) Two Swords(making sure to use Choas Blade and Excalibur for haste and regen) Move +2/3(depending if its a guy or a girl) and Draw Out(cuz samurai swords are just awesome).

Also make sure to lower the Faith to about 20 or less, cuz you cant be hurt by something that you dont believe in. If you want you could completely get rid of faith and not ever have to worry about magic, buit thats only if you want to.

Personally i prefer to use samurais or squire/knight because of their high Hp levels.I also prefer to use female characters because they can equip the ribbon( +10hp and negates ANY and ALL status problems, so beowulf would be ineffective).

Holy swordsman is the coolest for attacks i have them all on my main character (ramza) but otherwise ninja for teleport ( i think they are the ones with teleport correct me if im wrong) i can move ANYWHERE on the map thanks to them and me and my 2 chaosblades and my armor and stuff i can kill any MONSTER in one shot but not bosses "DAMNIT" well yeah holyS and ninja are my favs :D

Aaa,Time Mages learn Teleport, which doesn't move you anywhere, Teleport 2 does, which is learned by a ....I don' recall the job now, but it's a special one that you can't get without a game shark........................well, whatever,then.......digging around in five month old threads....
