Nintendo, Sony, and Microsoft all make exceptional games but the games themselves vary greatly.

Nintendo (GC) focuses more on the animated look on alot of their games. (mario. ToS, pokemon) They lack third party games though.

Microsoft on the other hand (XBox) gives their games a more realistic feel. (ex. halo) Microsoft also was able to take some of the games we loved from the PC and transfer them to the console. Out of the three, Xbox owns the other systems when it comes to FPS

Sony (PS2), probably my favorite of the three has a good mix of realistic and animated games. Sony also focuses alot on RPG (FF) and action games (Devil May Cry, Onimusha)


All three have good points it all depends on taste

The PS2 also costs an arm and a leg when it was freshly released.

40-50 bucks is an arm and a leg? You probably shouldn't be buying videogames at all if it's that much to you. plus theres always blockbuster if you don't want to spend much.

PS. If it costs you an arm and a leg for that, i suggest not getting the xbox360.

I bought the slim one a couple weeks before they dropped it from $150 to $129.99. I wasn't too pleased.
