But about Prak keeping the chat window open, I think it's understandable that he does that...he's a forum moderator, so it's natural that he needs to keep an eye on the place (and the chat, too). And I think he finds it enjoyable to read over older chat exchanges, so he keeps it open for those reasons too....

Nope, never happened to me. Although I fangirl about a few things, I am perfectly away of better things being out there. So I never say that XXX is the best. It shouldn't be too hard to follow. ;)

Well, there is no problem if someone likes FF7, but for the ones that say like "Sephiroth rulez!!!" or "Cloud p'wnz!" and shit like that, especially in forums that FF7 doesn't belong in, then they realy are asking to be bashed.

may i say that although i personally like FFVII i do agree with Prak and the others also. there was alot of marketing which helped bosst the sales and for its time the graphics were shit. but it also has its good points such as the 2 weapons that were added to the american game!(still haven't beaten them) and the different vehicles you can get also chocobo breeding and racing were fun! but over all FFVII was not an amazing game!

That's because they usually post things that are entertaining. GD is mostly spam. Everyone knows that already and expects it. It's stupidity that we frown upon.

Besides, another thing you should consider is that I don't read each forum individually. I use the New Posts link. I don't even notice what forum I'm posting in half the time, so if I bash people less in GD, that's pretty poignant.

I just said that to Norse, as was trying to explain why some members on here enjoy ragging others at times. I was just pointing out that it tends to be done for amusement on their part because of their type of humour, although at the same time i'm not referring to all the regulars as there's also plenty on here who don't do that.

I have to admit that at times i can't help losing patience if a member refuses to have any kind of reasonable discussion within a thread, in cases when that's the point of the topic, as in the kind of cases Squid gave. If somebody is truly behaving like an idiot, then I do tend to make the odd comment here and there. However in general, I do try to avoid being rude.

I like how everyone in the thread ignored the point I make about agreeing to disagree, and to use the FF7 forum for threads like "Help me!" or "Who do you think iz da hottest1!"
