Where is the mimic matiria, Double cut, Blue counter, and w-item?

The mimic materia is found in the materia cave on the Island of Wutai, which can be reaced by a Mountain Chocobo. Double cut can be found in the crashed Gelnika, the Support Counter materia is in the crater; if you take the right path and you don't have Yuffie with you, she'll find it for you. Finally, W-Item is found upon returning to Midgar, and you have to go down and away from the Sister Ray to find it in the train tunnel.

If i may elaborate on what was just said.

The 'mimic' (Mime) materia is found on the east of the island that Wutai is on...roughly about the center east, on a small peninsula type thing. To get there you need either a green, black or gold chocobo (see Neo_Xzhan's chocobo breeding guide on this board for more details on getting those chocobos) to cross the mountain and get to the cave with it inside, then touch the glowing thing in the middle.

The Double Cut can be found on discs 2 and 3 in the sunken Gelnika ship. When you go underwater with the submarine at Junon, go straight forward and enter the first opening you see on the left and follow that to get to the ship. If my memory is correct, it's the yellow materia in the first room you go in (ie-the room that you enter upwards from the room with the save point). I think it's on the bottom level of that room.

Blue counter...if you mean Counter on it's own then yeah it's in the north crater. Umm i believe when you're at the cross roads, take the bottom path and then chuck a right in the next screen and go through the swampy area and the rocky place and you should come to a place with a lot of stone stairs that seem to go downwards. It also has some trees that you can walk behind. The materia is on the right side of that screen in a tree (just walk through the tree and keep tapping the 'enter' button (default for that is circle).
However...if you mean Magic Counter, then that's also in the north crater but i don't remember where lol. You can also (and this is how i got it) win it at the chocobo races. It's an A and S class prize.

W-Item is found ONLY at the end of disc 2, when you go through Sector 8. You'll enter a train tunnel (similar to the one before sector 5 on disc 1) and when you do, you can either go forwards on back. If you go forwards you fight the turks (that also leads to the shinra building and proud clod and stuff) but if you disobey your team-mates' directions and advice and go backwards for about 12-14 looong screens you'll come across a save point and the W-Item materia.

Enjoy :)

Do you mean the "Final Attack" Materia. If you do then you be ready for lots of battles. In the Gold Saucer at the Battle Arena once you've beaten the "Arena" a bunch of times, you're asked if you would like to take part in a special battle. Say yes. These battles are much harder than the previous ones, but still doable. If you beat it two times I think, you get the "Final Attack" Materia. Pair this with Phoenix summon Mastered. Then each time you die (providing that you haven't used it more than five times that battle, and that you have sufficent MP) you will resurrect yourself and any other fallen comrades. It also works with Final Attack---Life.

Not Life. Final attack - Revive. It's easier on the MP.

Nah you only have to win the special battle once to get it. But i suggest mastering that and phoenix cause it helps a lot.

If it's just like them, then it's bs :)

You always fight Proud Clod at the end of the special battle, always.

Yeah. Keep a shitload of Ethers, X-Potions, and Hi-Potions. If you lost your ability to use Green Materia he is a real killer.

Not in Arena Battles. Only one character for the whole arena. Mime is esetially worthless there.

Unless you have 255 attack like me :) Then it's 9999 all the time. But yeah, the hero drink is a good strategy.

Oh wait your right!!I remember it now.Ok when you get to the fork where you decide who goes what way,go left. Then youll have a choice to pick two doors/tunnels/whatever they are.I think the one on the bottom is the right one.Well its a place with loads of yellowish vines everywhere.Go through it to the next screen. Now im not exactly sure how to tell you where it is.Well since the vines are paths through the place there should be one that leads you to the top left of the screen. It has to be left now.You end up on a little hill/hump.It should be near there. You might have to climb down or something.

Sorry if its not clear thats just off the top of my head.Hope it helped.

Dragon force: allows one members physical defense and magic defense to increase greatly. to get it for enemy skill you have to manipulate the dragon.
