I have really been in the mood to listen to pretty songs lately, so I am hoping that people will share the songs they think are especially beautiful with me! It would be great if you could post a link to the song, but it isn't neccesary. :)

Here are some of my favorites lately.

Nick Drake: Northern Sky (http://rapidshare.de/files/7697219/Northern_Sky.mp3.html)

Lamb: Gorecki (http://rapidshare.de/files/7697892/09_-_gorecki.mp3.html)

Frou Frou: The Dumbing Down of Love (http://rapidshare.de/files/7697319/Frou_Frou_-_The_Dumbing_Down_of_Love.mp3.html)

My vote would be Pearl Jam - Black. Its a rock song, but very sad and "Pretty". I'm working on the link.

Most of what I've been listening to the past few years can't be classified as anything near pretty, but the first thing that came to mind was this:

http://www.jameswong.com/ykproject/disc/disc/macplusfans/08.mp3

Tis a crappy sample.

There's been some goofy trance stuff I've heard that has pretty melodies or vocals but I feel silly talking about that

Fans of Lost in Translation ought to be familiar with this song. For those of you who don't know the soundtrack, it is possibly the most peaceful and happy and awesome compilation ever created. I offer you a taste of it with:

Happy End - Kaze Wo Atsumete (http://rapidshare.de/files/8267357/Happy_End_-_Kaze_Wo_Atsumete.mp3.html)

Also, props for the Current 93 suggestion. Are you a fan of Death in June? Rose Clouds of Holocaust is my favorite song to play/sing on guitar.
