Every time I see Supreme Commander, I want it more.
Seriously - it's about time we had a good RTS. The last good one was what, WarCraft III? and how long ago was that?

pfft, counting warcraft III as a good rpg. 8-)
as far as I'm concerned, total annihlation, even after almost a decade, has more depth than any other rts published to date. I'll be content even if it's just TA with better eyecandy, but I'm betting there's going to be some more revolutionary aspects of supcom, particularly in the areas of micromanagement

I have to agree, I managed to pick up Total Annihilation for just 5 in the bargain bin at the local gaming shop, and it's the best purchase i ever made. I'm looking forward to supreme commander, simply for it's TAesque appearance. The graphics are obviously a lot better than TA, but other than that, I'm hoping its going to be a similar type game

it likely will be, considering Chris Taylor is the primary developer. reading the interviews certainly makes it sound like a lot of mechanics will be similar- minimization of micromanagement, the number of units, how the units interact.
