If you mean the new one for PS2, then go fuck yourself. It may be fun, but the original ones are a shitload better. Compared, there is no comparison.

Star Ocean Til the End of Time is a good game... by itself. Granted the previous two were better, in their own ways, SO3 has something to it which I liked.
I think at the time when it was released here in Australia, there were no other RPG's out, so that was the main reason I bought it. To be honest, I don't regret buying it either.

You're entitled to your opinion, as is everyone else about every other game out there. I do however agree with you, in that the earlier Star Ocean games are great (Just started playing Star Ocean 2 - The Second Story, and I find myself enjoying it more, than I did when I first got it.) Read some of the earlier posts here about other games and such, and you'll find me having a go at some (In particular FFX and X-2. Ugh.)

FFX and FFX-2 have their own problems and I don't blame you, at all, for trashing them. They both seem too "different", in terms of Real-Time or Turn-Based gameplay. Star Ocean 2 is a great game, and by the way, do you happen to know how to get to the secret dungeon on Expel? I can't seem to remeber.

He wasnt comparing though. It doesnt always have to be a battle between classic rpgs and modern.
I thought SO3 was fantastic. the battle system was a breath of fresh air.
