Next time you watch it: When Tifa walks into the office where the phone is ringing and the camera pans across the desk behind the phone, put it on slow motion. you'll see a reflection of the FF7 american game, a pic that's hanging on the wall. I feel so special for pointing this out to you guys first! ^_^!

Wow sure enough he is right, although I couldn't use slowmotion on PowerDVD with the avi, pausing very fast I could barely make out Cloud and the buster sword in his hand.

Not really a spoiler. I saw it on accident. Gotta be really sharp to notice it and i'm sure you would have eventualy found out about it through word of mouth.

Very nice Marvin :) love little easter eggs like these. I cracked up when I heard the FF7 victory song ring tone on the cell phone at the end of Tifa's fight in the church.

I'm still looking for more stuff. Some of the more obvious things are the chocobos on the red signs around Midgar.

Chocobos on signs? I haven't noticed any myself, although I wouldn't be too surprised if they were there (after all, there were at least three chocobos which appeared in similar ways in FF The Spirits Within).

About the closest I've seen chocobos and moogles in FFVIIAC so far, is this place mentioned on a road sign (and no, they're not spoilers):

After loading up FFVIIAC in VirtuaDub, and spending several moments skipping through various frames, I can honestly say the FFVII US cover is indeed there as mentioned.

Unfortunately, the version of FFVIIAC I have is quite dark, so I tried increasing the brightness of the frame capture I took in Photoshop, but it didn't really help. The resulting still wasn't any better than the ones already provided, but anyway, you be the judge:

Plus, I also found one of the 'chocobo signs' previously mentioned, in the background in one of the later scenes when Bahamut Sin attacks Midgar (you can see the sign quite clearly behind Cloud when he rides up on his motorcycle):

Who knows how many more are hidden in the film, waiting to be discoverd?

Indeed. I can't wait to get my hands on the real DVD in november(please please please), theres probably dozens of other easter eggs in the film that we can't see on the sub-dvd quality of the ripped version.

Yeah, I noticed the 'Loveless' billboard. Even funnier is that one of those billboards falls down onto Rude in one scene, knocking him out momentarily.. :laugh:

Incidentally, the 'Loveless' poster in both the original game and FFVIIAC is a thinly veiled reference to the band My Bloody Valentine, who released an album in the mid to late 90's called 'Loveless'.. pointless but interesting trivia.

P.S. The fansub I have seems to have been ripped from the UMD version, as the resolution is much lower than DVD. But it still looks very, very good. Can't wait until next month when my pre-ordered DVD arrives..
