maybe this could get a sticky seeing as there are enough people loving anime/manga here

i'm more of a manga person and most of the time only watch animeshows that arent based on manga(Bebop, FLCL, Champloo, NGE) or just watch anime if i'm a big fan of the manga(Naruto for the fights :p)
and since most anime is based on manga.. well you know what they say bout book vs movie.. well it works the same with manga vs anime imo(though there are exceptions)

today i read the first 16chapters of Say hello to Black Jack
its about a medical student who wants to become a bigtime doctor
all i can say is that this manga is hard and the art is hyperrealistic
it questiones allot of things in the japanese medical world and apparently even got recognition for bringing out facts and forced the big chiefs to apply new laws etc wich is pretty unique if you ask me
