I`d have to say Vincent. For a number of reasons ,but most of all, the mytery behind him. I enjoyed his backstory and felt it was one of the best scenes in FFVII.

Of course not, but i think there terrible characters. Difference of opinion i suppose but characters like that are just the "comic relief" of FF and are usually the worst and poorly thought out. Of course, that`s just my opinion.

Your very right but lets just say this: I dearly love FFIX but it`s beyond me how anyone even remotely enjoys Quina in any shape of form. I just found her/him a total burden. He/She was the Aeris of FFIX.

My favorite FF character, the nieve tidus, and even nieve'r yuna for sure. through out FFX it was entertaning to watch them go from completly into each other to not complety into each other, and yet still have like a puppy love thing going in between.

I think yhay cloud would be my favorite caracter, maybe because he has the best history, about quina, he/she is not that bad in battle i find bery entretaining, eat all those monsters to find all she/he`s attacks...

Here are my favourites....

FF7: Cid - His foul language made me laugh at times and his limit break 4 rules.
FF8: Riona - She's hot and her dog can make you invincible.
FF9: Steiner - Has some cool sword arts and he looks like a clown in armour.
FF10: Wakka - Attack reels is brilliant and has worse hair than Zell.

I almost forgot about Lionheart in FF2. He's friggen awesome. :D

I personnaly favour sephiroth too, and his six foot blade and his battle skills. but the new advent children sephiroth is not how I picture him. I think it should of stayed the way he was

Of course, from FF6, Sabin, Shadow and Setzer dominated. Sabin had those flippin nice Blitz moves, Setzer had a nice background story involving his Falcon, and Shadow was just plain cool. You gotta love the Intercepter! Relm and Locke had no strength, at least when I played FF6. I played for Shadow, but got pissed off when he contiously disbanded from your team. FF7 was a close one. Cloud's the main man, but Zack sorta got him started. And you can't argue with Aeris's Limits. If only you had that invincibility + full HP/MP recovery at Safer-Sephy. (In addition to a couple rounds of Knights o' Round/Omnislash. Lol) In FF8, Seifer was the bad boy of all bad boys. His Limits (As your enemy) were awesome and PAINFUL! Laguna had his part in the Dream World, but got lamer when his was the prez of Esthar (or whatever.) FF9, Zidane and Blank were great for punishment earlier on, but Vivi's whole theory on life sorta got me runnin for the little guy.

Donno why... I just love the whole party of FF6. They're all my fav.

Sephiroth shouldn't be able to swing his sword, or even lift it up. Neither should Cloud, unless their swords are made of fucking aluminum foil. >:

Weellll... since this was Phoenix-downed back into the land of the living, I guess I'll give it a go. ^^;

The top spot would totally go to Zidane (FF9), hands down. He's always been my favorite character out of anything, Final Fantasy or not. I adore his personality -- the way he doesn't take everything so seriously, he's not walking around with a chip on his shoulder despite any insecurities he has about his past, and the fact his hormones dictate half of his actions. ...oh wait. :P I like his whole, "Sometimes you can't just think things through, you have to go with your heart" philosophy. He's mah boy!!

The other characters I really like (though none even remotely as much as Zidane) would be Celes, Locke, Freya, and Dagger.

Squall and Seifer. Long time rivals and behind the same woman. What about that?
