I would go for Masahiro Ito.. Now he is what I call a "creative" artist with a wide imagination.

Then in second place Yoji Shinkawa... Simply amazing.

Then in third place Tetsuya Nomura... The man behind Final Fantasy characters.

Who is your favourite?

My votes for Tetsuya, Just cos I love the FF series. I'm not too crash hot on the MGS series and I dont think Ive seen Silent hill at all.

I have no idea who the artist is, but I always liked the style of the capcom artist that did this sketch for some reason:

I'm sure there are much better, but that was the first thing that came to mind.

Also, if you want to give credit to an artist for Final Fantasy, why the more recent Nomura? I think Amano is a much better artist.

I have to give it to Yoshitaka Amano over Tetsuya Nomura hands down. He has such a fluid and organic style filled with life and character. He is a master and I only dream of someday having a tenth of his skill.

I dont know his name, but whoever designed the characters in Onimusha: Demon Siege is definitely my favorite because his characters are the most lifelike I've seen.

Yoji Shinkawa and Tetsuya Nomura..

But I don't actually care what person that made the game, as long as i enjoy the game he/she made ...

Amano or Nomura...Numora's drawing and painting skills are simply amazing...and Amano's are very...Alive
i still think i'd be on Numora's side rather than Amano's

I should say Ayami Kojima from the latest Castlevanias, Yoshitaka Amano for the first FFs, and the guy who made Guilty Gear X's art(dont remember his name ^^;).

Tough call. I've learnt more from looking at Nomura's stuff, but as far as preference of the actual art I much prefer Shinkawa's confident pen sketches.

I absolutely love Nomura's work. He's amazing, and I doubt anyone will doubt that, except for himself, but very humbly. But I was kind of uncertain in my decision, mainly because I've been interested in Hyung Tae Kim and Juno Jeong for just as long.
