My apologies if these things have been asked before, but I am new and didn't see them in any recent(ish) threads!
I am just completing the game again, and am currently about 15 hours into my 6th completion, but I want to do a couple of things (find out) that I never did before. Hopefully someone can help me out.
Firstly, the man in the pipe, a friend and I have always known there must be a way to aid him and get a reward or something, but are yet to actually manage it. How do we help him out, and more importantly perhaps, what is the reward:D?
Secondly, something I stumbled on that hasn't happened before. While wondering around in the snow I came across a region where there was a cave (I'm talking about when you have been running in the blizzard for a while). I walked into the cave and found a small blue creature, which seemed particularly passive aggressive toward me. It threatened me and kept repeating: 'Stop, that is enough' or something like that... What are you meant to do to interact/provoke the damn thing??
That's all for now, cheers to anyone who can advise me!

Q1: You can't help him.
Q2: Dip your hands in the hot springs(please don't ask where they are), go back to her, defeat her and you get Alexander.

So THAT's the lady of the lake! My goodness me, how protracted that all is. Cheers for that! Getting Alexander had better be worth it...

Hmm, I missed it on my first save game, then. What directions did you wander in to 'stumble' across this cave?

now the man in the pipe, many theories are knocking about the internet about him and the revival of Aries. Now before you read further I'll clarify that the revival of Aries is IMPOSSIBLE. Now, the man in the pipe, as one of the theories goes, is an Ancient/Cetra. Nobody tells us this but originally Sqauresoft was going to include the revival of Aries and the man in the pipe was the person who would of revived her. Alegedly, you had to go back to the Sector 6 (i think its 6) slum church after Aries is killed, you see her ghost, but then it fades away, we would of had to go visit the pipe man after this and we would find he is well again, then he would of asked about Aries as they knew eachother from living in the same slum, then somehow he was meant to go to the Forgot Capital and revive Aries for you. But as many people believe FF7 is incomplete, I personally believe Squaresoft rushed the game leaving this part of the game out, and made a totally new ending and everything.

That utter bullshit.

Yeas, but that`s probably the worst. One thing is sure, the ending was the ending. Because, the time it would take to totaly redo and re-render an ending scene would take too long. The guy in the pipe has no relavence other than a small addition to a set piece. And enough "what ifs" to fuel shitty conspiraces.

theres no need to be so hostile about it man, its just a theory, no need to read so much into it. its cool that you dont like it, personally im not to keen on it either but its a theory ive read, dont mean you gotta believe it. only part of it i believe is the game itself is unfinished

But these endless theories that jump the gun with no evidence are ridiculas.

yes, i see what you mean, the man in the pipe turned out to be a sephiroth clone if i remember right as the person outside of his pipe says that he just got up and started wandering, or something along those lines

But there was many clones. But i see where your coming from. There`s certainly an intriguing side to his possible history.

You can run back into the snowfeilds. And go to find the lady. You do not need to touch the lake again. I think once you re-enter the snowfeilds you come out in the blizzard place and you run to Clouds left? I think it is. And eventually you exit the blizzard place and you keep runing around that area and you find the cavern with the snow lady.
