I think Aeris was one of the best characters. She was the only playable character that was entirely magic based, which would come in handy in some later battles when she was not around.

Ive heard that magic thing before.You can get by without much magic.The only magic you really need is cure for most of the game.You only need really powerful magic like summons for the weapons or some really hard bosses.And anyway its not like her magic hits for 9999 and everyone else only hits for 99!

Well it's true u can get by with only magic but magic makes life easier :)

Aerith is not a bad char, she is easily one of the most powerful chars in the game, if noz the most powerful. While cloud has almost as high magic stat as Aerith, Aerith has incredibly powerful Limits which make her very strong.

But you're right it was sad that she died :( Her death doesn't allow u to use any limits at all, at least not for a long time :(

Yep, i used her all the time cuz she's 1 of my fac chars and also cuz her limits are very useful at the begining of the game when healing isn't that plentiful :)

BUT, seeing how cruel you can be i have to say that you are sick dude - show some compassion man...it's not funny when people die, even if it is a game :)

Not as half as good!?... Aerith has by far probably the most powerful limits in the game, for god's sake...

She can heall the whole party's HP and MP to full, in addition she cures all status changes and makes the whole party invincible for some time man...

Check her final limit out, it might be hard to learn since the requisite limits are very hard to learn, but once u have this limit, u have an incredibly strong character on your side...however it is sad that u can't really enjoy her limits cuz she dies fast :(

However, if you think her limits are useless, then you have prob never seen it I presume...

Btw did u ever see her 3rd lv limit - she fills the limit bar of all characters on the party when u use that limit, i cannot remember the name of the limit, but with the help of that limit u can kick some srious ass dude...just think how you can fill up cloud's and barret's, for example, limit bar to full without even geting hit by a monster...just fight a little and enter a boss fight with Aerith's limit bar full..then use her limit to fill up cloud's limit bar and the bar of the other party member and watch the nica damage :)

Her limits are not weak dude, but easily the most powerful in the game :)

One of the reasons I never took to Aeris is cause I prefer physical attacks to magic attacks(with obvious exceptions such as summons and other kick ass magic).magic wastes mp,mp needs to be restored.Just find it easier without it I guess.

Besides, i prefer pyhsical damage over magic as well with the exception of some, as u stated dude :)

But just think how often you can use her limits with fury lol, and how fast you could heal with her limits, or even how fast you could fill up the limit bars of other chars as well

Aeris was a great part of the story-line. But, since I knew she was going to die (it got spoiled for me), I didn't use her. Normally Cloud, Barret, and Nanaki. But now, I use Cloud, Barret, and Yuffie. I agree with Desert Wolf, Yuffie rocked.

Well i have played with her a lot and I know that she is a very strong character...i don't know why she is weak to you, but i actually leveled her up to lv 99 in disc 1 and she had her final limit..and you should see her lv 3 limits as well...very powerful...she is not weak man...you people haven't tried her out at all and you just talk nonesense...i am not saying that she has to be lv 99 or anything but she is a powerful chracter....learn how to use her mate, then you will see that she is powerful ^_^ what you just said above makes no sense and shows that you don't quite know what you are talking about....but we will see...I could be wrong as well but i doubt that...

Yes, that is correct ^_^ only Cloud and Cith sith could really stand up to her when it comes to magic, they have a similarly high magic stat, BUT Aerith's magic stat was pretty much the highest...it really amazed me at first that she was so powerful...even at the begining of the game when i first palyed it, I realized that she is probably a pretty strong character, alone by her maigc, but when i saw her limits...woo boy... so much power ^_^

A character's limits are the real damage dealers..and she has no damage dealing limits and her only means of attack is magic ..very powerful magic lol ^^

But when it comes to supporting and healing, and protection, you are right, her powers were second to none...

Still her 3rd lv limit has the ability to fill up all the other character's limit bars to full..which means that the other two characters can unleash their limits regardless of how full or empty their bar is at the moment..cuz her limit simply fills up the whole bar..now that is one tactic i really liked..enjoyed it ^_^

Lol, i know what you are saying mate, i use physical attacks myself all the time, i use amgic for healing and protection and of course, KotR and some other evry powerful magicks are also employed by me ecause they do tons of damage or have nice side effects

But i know 1 thing, if Aeith were still alive, I would definetly use her, and she would be in my party the whole time :)
And then I would use magic with her, but when you have no strong spelcaster in your group whose PRIMARY focus is magic....then you have really no use for magic..so i can understand why you favor physical attacks ^_^

Cloud, Cith sith and Cid are good at magic as well, bt Aerith id frar better, and besides these 3 kick but with physical attacks alone, not to meantion Cloud's Omnislash, or Cid's Highwind - or the fact that you caninstantly win a fight with Caith sith.. Well, actually maybe it is abit higher but still she is not really good at magic either, she has good hp and she attacks from long range meaning that hse suffers no damage penalty when attacking from the back row...she is powerful in physical combat, but for that her magic is not really something...as i said it may be a little higher than Tifa's but you still need a better healer, adn you are right, cloud should kick but with his sword lol ^^

Slots isn't annoying if you know the trick to stopping on what you want. As for the pronunciation, most people don't know but it's pronounced Ket-Shee :cool: :eye:

shes my third favorite character. all you have to do is level her up a lot in the beggining of the game and shes great in battle and a lot of help.
