Songs from final fantasy are beatiful...wish I had something like a 3 disk record of the best (i'm sure mostly from ffvi).
Too bad the best composer is gone even before his departure,x-2's battle song was...well...CRAP,putting it softly,...but ff is 4ever hopefully songs will beat ffvii's melodies

FF7 and FF8 songs really rocked but i liked the intro song of FFX2 now that was a classic.

FFVIII songs are one of the best songs that I ever heard.

ff7 and ffx have the most emotional songs though. i not sure about the older ones as i recently bought a used copy of ff anthology w/o the free cd!

Literally, the only good songs in FFVIII were Liberi Fatali, The Extreme and to some extent, Ending Theme. The rest were boring and typical

On the other hand, Final Fantasy Tactics and Final Fantasy VI were the best ever. Period.

I quite personally think FFIX was fantastic. It sounded quite different compared to the previous soundtracks. I also enjoyed the FFVIII soundtrack although, can we not vote for FFVI? That was a great soundtrack.
