well since ndi's thread about this has disappeared, i decided to make one myself. anyways the point of the thread is to post your recent musical obsession. post the song or artist that you have been listening to alot. recently i've been listening to alot of Gazette, Ken Oak Band, and Dorothy in Wonderland. Gazette is just a Jrock band, but they're not average. they have their own distinct sound from other Jrock bands. Ken Oak Band is just purely original and new. they play cello rock... yes cello rock. it's just so original and new, also the music is great. Dorothy in Wonderland is, to put it in lamest terms, awesome. they're a korean indie/ alternative/ acoustic band. the lyrics are in korean/ english. but i can't really put into words how much i love their music. and dorothy is so cute.

I will have you
Yes, I will have you
I will find a way and I will have you
Like a butterfly
A wild butterly
I will collect you and capture you

You are an obsession
You're my obsession
Who do you want me to be
To make you sleep with me
You are an obsession
You're my obsession
Who do you want me to be
To make you sleep with me

Teenage Bottlerocket, The Connie Dungs/A Radio With Guts, Bleach, Lightning Bolt, Teengenerate, and Pretty Girls Make Graves.

I already made threads about some of these and may make more threads in the future! Connie Dungs/ARWG are really dramatic pop-punk, Bleach is a spastic Japanese punk/hardcore band, Teengenerate is garagey Japanese punk (think the Ramones mixed with the Flamin' Groovies on speed, with the production values of a bedroom 4-track recorder), and Pretty Girls Make Graves is kinda... weird... stuff. Keyboards with almost totally lead guitar overtop and guy/girl dual vocals; I have no idea what I'm supposed to call them, if there is a word. Of all the bands I listed here, they probably have the most universal appeal, so check 'em out.
