Squall and Rinoa was my favorite, as it was pretty much the only one that was instrumental to a storyline.

FFVIII's love story would be my favorite. I like the way how they met, became friends and fall in love with each other.

I enjoyed FF9's the best out of all of them.

As usual, my favorite was from Final Fantasy IX. I found it entertaining watching Zidane always try to get Dagger and her blowing him off the first half of the game. It made it better in the end when Dagger finally runs to Zidane.

FF9 is not shitty at all and anyone that says that is wrong.

FF7 I always thought that Aries and Cloud were getting very close before she dies, he reacts in a way someone closer than just a friend does. They probably would have fallen in love if they had the chance. Cloud and Tifa are always just good friends.

FF8 I don't really like this one, you know the outcome from the start (if you look at the logo) Squall seems indifferent and then suddenly he falls in love. I don't like the sudden change much. You don't think Rinoa and Squall have feeling for each other at all through most of the game.

FF9 Now I love the relationships between the characters at the start with Zidane ,Garnet and Steiner and of course Vivi. You don't ever think Zidane will really get together with Garnet or even if he is serious about it. It runs throughout the whole game too unlike 8.

FFX Again like 8 you don't think Tidus and Yuna have feelings for each other until the scene in the lake. Unless i missed something in 8 and 10.

Well your are right about FF8's logo, but it was amazing how they fell in love because at the beginning we all knew squall is not very social, and he is like "whatever..." to everybody and then you wonder, how will he fall in love!

In my own opinion I believe that the story from Final Fantasy VIII was good, but not the best. It was well pieced together and made sense, however I prefer the story in Final Fantasy X. The simple reason I like it is, because it deals with the issue of duty more in depth. Throughout the entire game Yuna had to deal with her own duty, while Tidus had to support her in spite of that. This took place to a lesser degree in Final Fantasy VIII. In general I was simply amazed by the fact that she was willing to die to save thousands of people she didn't even know. The end result being Final Fantasy VIII was good, but in my own opinion didn't have the broad view and same epic feeling to it.

I loved all of the love stories. They were all special in their own way and I felt that they were all touching and captivating.

Final Fantasy 9's love story is one of the best. I personally dont like the game, but It was nice how Zidane came out in the end.

In my opinion, Final Fantasy VIII had the best love story. I found it so sweet when Squall so badly wanted to get Rinoa out of her coma. And when he went into space just to save her. Though, with Final Fantasy X, it didn't really make any sense when Yuna said, "I want you to be my guardian" when she hardly knew him. And then when they kissed in Macalania Lake, nothing really led up to it...

7 was the best I believe. Aeris and Cloud... how could you have missed their falling in love (although they never actually fell entirely for one another). The scene where he lets her go is so symbolic, and the musical accompaniment is so powerful. Hands down winner.

When I first played it, FF8 was freaking annoying, with Squall and Riona being all lubey dubey. It's a good video game romance, but I didn't expect a drippy love story like that from a Final Fantasy game. *sigh* Oh well. Sign o' the times, I guess.

Be nice to them through the whole game. i.e. Instead of giving the flower to Tifa, give it to Marlene, instead of sneaking in to the shrina building, follow Barret's advice and bust on in, always have him in your party, stuff like that. I'm not sure about Red XIII, but I have experienced firsthand the date with Barret. It was funny, but not as funny as when Aeris slaps the Dragon King and storms off the stage in a huff. That was priceless.

That's pretty good, but I just tend to play the game, and end up dating them anyways...Red XIII Was the wierdest date I got. But the yuffie one was pretty good. The barret was like a man to man date type of thing...But it was cool.
