I have this idea for a story but didn't really have much. I didn't want to continue because if I add anymore it would effect the story feeling to me. Kinda like a prevention to keeping my story from sucking just in case I didn't like where it was going.

The character (male/female?) has discovered the "forbidden library and it linked to the lost city of Atlantis. The library from the outside is designed like a giant white roman building with the classic pillars. The library at the back of the city which is lit like it has sunlight but the source isnt visible. The city homes are lined next to each other without space between them (like in an old Europe city). The buildings are stone looking with large wooden doors. The doors wont open but its not because they are locked. The city is surrounded by a cave like dome without an entrance/exit. I want to say there is a palace but I havent really thought much about that yet.

Thats about all Ive come up with. I havent decided what how the character travels between the world to Atlantis yet.

And what exactly do you expect people to say about this? All we can tell is that you're recycling the excessively used Atlantis idea, which is enough to relegate you to mediocrity-land just on principle.

I posted this in hopes that someone might add on or just post their general ideas. I know that atlantis idea is overused. I just used it as an idea of what kind of city I was talking about. Like a lost of forgotten civilization.

So you don't have a story idea at all. You want us to give you ideas for the story based on the setting you've established. Is that right?

It's optional but basically...yeah. http://www.vgcity.com/subdomains/forums/images/smilies/animehappy.gif
