Depends on what game they are on because on FF10 you can do break damage limit and can controll your aeons so they take all the damage.
and on other FFs you can only go up to 9999 bar FF8.
so it all depends on the game they are in.
if they were in a 9999 ff for example it could be Squall or Cloud because there Limits were powerful.
but tidus and auron and that could easily beat them to a pulp
with there overdrives and Abilities.

I would go with my usual final result of Terra from VI
Hp : 9999
Mp: 999
Relics : Offering, Gengi Glove
Weapon: 2 atma weapons

deals a consistant 9999 x8, no need for a limit break.

really over 9999 damge isnt really counted but in terms of power JENOVA is the strongest it is a god and is a planet destroyer...but the battles you have against it are easy....but anyway JENOVA is the ultimate enemy

As much as I dislike Sephiroth, he does seem to destroy the entire solar system trying to kill you with Super Nova.

Also Kefka's Light of Judgement is pretty awesome. Capable of seperating the land and cutting out new continents. <3

Yep. And since the planets continue to come back...and they can't even kill the party...it's a pretty lame attack.

Kuja destroyed a planet. Only Kefka has come close to that.

Oh, I forgot about Kuja's thing. Yeah. You're right. :O

When the comet hits the sun and it expands vaporizing Mercury and Venus, the heat ought to boil if not melt Earth as well. The only thing that could survive this is a divine being. Yet Sephiroth eventually dies proving that he is not so he should have died aswell in his own attack. Anyways Anima from the International version can do litterally a couple MILLION damage. Her overdrive, Oblivion, attacks many many times doing 99,999.

Kuja wasn't that hard to beat...but he did destroy a freaking planet all by himself.

It terms of plot, it would be a toss up between Neo ExDeath, Necron and possibly Cloud of Darkness.

The Anti-Existence

Well, Neo-ExDeath was only really a boss. It is impossible to judge how actually strong he was after merging with the Void. And Necron..no one is even certain what Necron was. So it's out as well.

Those selections were based on the fact that all three of them, or at least the first two, are said to exist to destroy all reality. I think it's possibly that Cloud of Darkness only had the power to destroy the light and dark world though; it's been a while since I read over the script for that game.

Necron, for all we know, could have simply been part of the Iifa Tree as some speculate which would mean it could not threaten all existence. Neo X-Death is an enigma. "The universe is in danger!" is a very odd thing to ay. Perhaps it's in as much danger as it was from Sephiroth's Supernova attack which would mean it's pretty safe.

Except that we know for sure that Necron was a threat to all existence, based on dialogue within the game:

Necron: I exist for one purpose... To return everything back to
the zero world, where there is no life and no crystal to give life. In
a world of nothing, fear does not exist. This is the world that all
life desires.
Whatever the circumstances in which Necron was created (or, indeed, if it had always existed), we know for sure that his purpose was to destroy all existence and that in turn must make him a rather powerful entity.

As for Neo ExDeath:

Neo-Exdeath: I am Neo-Exdeath! I shall erase all memory, all existence, all
dimensions. Then I too, shall disappear for, eternity!
While we never get to see Neo ExDeath show off its reality-destroying abilities, his dialogue at the very least implies that it was within his capabilities. It’s not really similar to Sephiroth’s SuperNova in the slightest. Supernova was a gameplay element that was given absolutely no importance within the plot of the game and was clearly designed to act in a similar manner to many other ‘ultimate attacks’ from that era: to show off the graphical capabilities of the PSX. Neo ExDeath’s dialogue was part of the plot.

Squall is probably one of the strongest characters, mainly due to his Limit Breaks and Lionheart.
