I need help to know something... I heard that FF3 was in fact FF6... Why? And are there others things like that? Im trying to get all the Final Fantasy but first I need to be sure that I don't buy two times the same... help please!

FF1 | FF1 (NES)
FF2 | FF2 (PS)
FF3 | FF3 (DS, not released yet)
FF4 | FF2 (SNES), FF4 (PS)
FF5 | FF5 (PS)
FF6 | FF3 (SNES), FF3 (PS)

Everything from VII onwards is the same.
