Who do you think is the hardest boss in the final fantasy 7 besides the Weapons, Sephiroth, and Jenova? I havent decided which I thought was the hardest but I would like to read what you think.

I think the hardest is probably hojo

Either the crane monster (obtaining the huge materia) or the double headed monster in the cliffs of gaea.

and the hardest boss for me would be um dont know they were all pretty easy but i found that two headed dragon a bit harder than hojo or any one else

but the materia keeper is a hard one. either one of those is really really hard

Materia Keeper can be tough all right.Espically if he hits you with Trine.

no my people wernt on lv 50 or any thing close tothat i cant remember what lv they were on but it wasnt that high

besides all the really tough ones huh ?! lol

I can't remember it's name, but that thing that comes out of the wall in the Temple of Ancients, it always hits me with 1400 !! meaning big damage, so that Aeris has to heal every round, but it gives you a very fast Limit Break

I'd probaby say that Demon Wall thing, that was pretty difficult for that point of the game, well, unless you'd leveled up amazingly beforehand.

since i started a new game i had time to think what is my hardest boss and i think it is the wall because he hits so hard and it takes a while

I never had any trouble with Demons Gate...Probably Carry Armour, hes a little shit.

Ive just realized that the hardest boss probably was Demon wall cause on my first run thruogh it took me ages to beat (bit like the one on ff4or ff6 not sure)

Yer Demon's Gate was a b***ard to beat. Levelling up in the temple of the ancients had to be done because you obviously cant go bk until youve done that whole bit , but damn my thumbs were aching. Then the moment came when i stepped up against him and COMPLETELY wiped the floor with him. I cant remember what level i was on but i had levelled up more than i needed. I had gained one whole limit level with Cloud and when I was in battle i mopped the floor with him. Demons Gate was owned that day.

sephiroth was tough for me, but not that tough it took me about three or four atempts the first time i played, but i found the midgar zolom really tough sins i had to level alot to get his Beta spell early on in the game, it pissed me off when i only survived Beta with one character then i he ejects me from battle before i can finish him off. >:O

hardest boss for me was, and still is, the Stupid Robot thingie that Reno sends to attack you in the Underwater Reactor, I'm stuck on two files on the same boss. I owned the 2-headed dragon though, thanks to Cloud and my trusty Fire Ring. Materia Keeper, simple, beat him with Cloud, what I did was let him attack me until I got my limit (which didn't take long) then hit him with Cross-Slash, and while he's paralysed, use Cure-2, it worked for me, although it did take 30 minutes. The Boss I find quite hard is the two robot thingies in the elevator, and not because it keeps killing me, but my lack of training kicks in here, and I usually have to depend on Areis limit, Barrets attack, and Grenades.

lol, i was exadurating minotaur lolol. maybe like 10-15. but thats becasue im stubborn and i wont train before i fight somthing i lose to again... so i was fighting him over and over again with the same losing stuff... so ya, it sucked, i was getting bored and so i trained...

Demon Gate, though, today I beat him no prob, I was like lvl 35 because I took advantage of the Cave of the Gi and those Rino Tank things at Gonaga(sp?).

Materia Keeper was a !#%^$. Really, it was tough. Demon thingy was more #!^&*@%$. Sorry for the bleeps, but I had to do it, ya know?

There ARE some tough bosses in FFVII. Especially Godo. The little multi-faced fu**tard keeps healing when I'm one attack away from killing him. But, mind you, I'm still on disk one.

Everyone always had trouble with Demons Gate, but with Bahamut and Limits, I found him really easy for some reason. Bear in mind, also that I have played FFVII a good few times, and I have been in the same situation every time.

I have to agree with Swami, the wapons are dfinetly the hardest, and just try Ruby weapon, who is impervious to almost all attacks but a few....it's sick..and Emereld can kill you in one attack..eradiate the whole party just like that,and you need the Final attack materia if u want to be sure to win...

But if i had to choose one of the regular bosses that you must fight, Sephiroth is definetly the hardest, both forms of him ^_^

Ruby is easy actually Monk.Just use W-Summon Hades-KOTR and then Mime and he won't even touch you.Only 1 character can be alive though.

I know that Diablo ;) I just said that he is impervious to SOME attacks, i beat him with only KotR + W-summmon, didn't want to use hades to make it more interesting, but it was the same actually..he is easy if you know the tactics ^^

Yup , i'd agree with that.Second time through you have more then enough knowledge of the game to kick seven bells out of that puff.

Way too easy, the game in general is piss easy.

Maybe that's why they stuck the American Weapons in there. Too bad they took out those black dogs... forgot what they were called... Zeros or something. Jap version only... What they did was give you a **** load of AP and XP and they didn't attack you. Only problem was they have a high evasion rate and a lot of HP so if one had patience (and the Jap. Version) they'd be set.

Well for someone who likes to level a lot, like me, and get all the nice materia out there, it is no problem at all..and you're right the game is really easy when you get the hang of it...anyway, I beat the final form of Sephiroth in only 1 round and all he could do was about 3,000 damage to a single party member....
I was dissapointed....

I like to have Sephy do about 5000-6000 dmg to my characters, to make him think he has a chance =P Plus when he does that, the ol' Omnislash, then Cosmo Memory, then Highwind comes out. Usually ends it right there XD

probably the weird monster in the sunkens ship, after emerald of course, but only because the little shit keep posioning and status attacks my team and unless u got ribbon equiped its rather frutrating have to keep taking them off - even worse so is when u have a high lvl character confused then - he/she kills the charchter with ribbon argh that was a bitch! still a couple of knights of the round and hes toast :D

Well, high levels aren't really needed to beat Sephiroth necessarily... I've beaten him as low as level 56.

Diablo is right about the game being easy.The weapons arent even too hard.If I made a game(hopefuly I will someday) Id make normal bosses as hard as them and bosses like the weapons almost impossible.Might be a challenge no?

FF7 bosses were easy, compared to all the other RPGs I've played (Chrono Trigger aargh) but the Demon Gate was hard as shit.

He was hard the first time but I kicked his ass next time round.

Probably have to be Gi Nattak. The boss at cosmo canyon was real pain mainly because i was under prepared. I somehow won (after about 7 or so attempts).

You can kill him in one shot with pheonix down being dead an all.I only did it once because its no fun.

2 Fenix Downs + Gi Nattack = no more Gi Nattack.

Or an X-Potion for a sure hit. Phoenix downs tend to miss

i have beat all the bosses on ff7 and they were easy ( i have 2 seats of master materia)
and he did do it on the pc version because he to a screen shot ( there is no way he could just take a pic of it and make look that good)

As for the final boss with cloud level 9 thats a load of @#$% he's a compulsory character and you have to use him in most of the boss battles that would level him up to over level 9. not to mention that you have 4x cut which is a high level materia so you have to had trained to get it. (although you could've done that while cloud was out) Meh, whatever..

My guess is he used a debug menu to get all the materia and to get to that point in the game.

I didnt have trouble with any bosses in the game at all, i flew through it quite easily, the only boss that whooped me a few times was the monster in the safe in the Shinra mansion when he turns blue, if he turns red hes a pussy, but damn that blue bastard. Pretty damn impossible for your characters at that point in the game.

Apart from the weapons, I guess it would have to be the battle with the Turks near the end.

The Lost Number in Nibel Mansion when it turns blue or the Midgar Zolom, Beta is evil!!

As for the others, I try to use either Fury Brand (while I can still get it) and other Limit Breaks with Aqualung or just my trusty Knights of the Round materia!

If you want a challenge, try doing it when you're SUPPOSED to be at the Temple of the Ancients on disk one with Aeris (of whom I don't train because it'd be a wasted effort do to the fact that oh, let's see, SHE DIES) and she is like lvl 30, that's what I did, I just did it to get my Kickass Yuffie the Magic Shurkien and Cloud the Murasame.

damn Rapps was so hard then, no materia is a terrible way to fight. my first time around on FF7 i had to do it with everyones Level 1 limits as i didnt know how to get to the Level 2 limits. now that was hard, good thing about it however was that Cross Slash hit Rapps with stop, when that happened, it was slightly easier as there was no Aero 2 hitting me every 2 seconds.
In my personal opinion Demon Gate was the hardest boss in the game, cos of it, i put the game down for like 5 months cos i got sick of it killing me all the time, when i picked the game up again, i didnt understand why i put it down lol i beat him easy. but Demon Gate, first time round = hardest boss ever
