I can't beat Zeromous... I've been trying for almost a month! The levels of my characters are:
Cecil:60 Rosa:58 Kain:60 Rydia:56 Edge:58
I think its pretty high, but I still can't beat zeromous.
Tips please?

have you used that crystal thing?

Yes, I used it, but after i get wiped out... I heard that you can steal something from him before using the crystal that makes his attacks less harmful but I can't get it...

Do you ever use attack magic with Rosa? I find that he's a lot easier if you just wait until he uses Big Bang with Rosa and then use a Cure4. Usually that pretty much keeps him from killing my characters.

fight with kain and cecil. summon bahamut with rydia. rosa alternate between
cure4 and holy. edge attacks and uses ether/ether2 when needed.

and all of my character were lvl 40 when i beat zeromus.

You could always make it so Edge is dealing over 9000 damage every turn, that'll make it a lot easier. I know, I know, sounds like BS right? All you need is the Excalibur to do it though. Then you need to duplicate it many times. SO. This is how you can do it.
1. Enter a battle with it equipped on Cecil
2. Go into the item menu, select a blank space, and put the Excalibur there.
3. Get out of the battle, go into the menu and put the Excalibur back in Cecil's hand. Now there will be a 2 by the swords.
4. So select the Excaliburs in his hand and put it back in the inventory, now you have two in your inventory.
5. Select the Excalibur and put it back in his hand and repeat.
This sounds pretty difficult, but it'll only actually take about a minute to do each one and this way Edge can deal some massive damage over and over. This works for any weapon (I think), but unfortunately you can't throw the Ragnarok, so there's no point in duping that. The Holy Lance however I believe you can throw, so you can dupe two powerful throwing weapons every battle.
That helped me to beat him, other than that just do what the other people said, keep casting Cure 4 with Rosa, and if you need some extra curing you can always summon Ashura and hope for the best.

Tatic thats worked for me everytime Ive beat it. (50-60 times)

Cecil - Attack
Rosa - Cure4, Protect, Shell, Holy
Cain - Jump, Holy (use holy lance as item)
Rydia - Bahamut, Meteo, Leviathan, Ashura
Edge - Attack, Throw Cleaver, Throw Excalibur

DO NOT CAST BLK MAGIC, zeromus will counterattack, better make lydia use Bahamut or Ashura when needed

... I don't have bahamut... guess I'll have to go get him!

what i did was kill off rydia and kain cause they can't do much, also when rose heals it does a little more, and have edge throw swords/ attack and cecil attack and have rose heal every single turn. i beat him in like 10 to 15 minutes keeping that up. also you're around the same level as i was so i think that would work.

im at the very end and i wiped the floor with him but i was a higher lvl than you and had bahmant but i cant help you i just cured when needed and used ethers when needed

takes me back..which is harder though? bahamut or zeromous? cause i think zeromous bit the dust after i quit tryin to lvl to beat bahamut and just went after zero..but wish still had the game now..would've loved a stack of excaliburs..

I have won the fight with Cecil, Rosa and Edge. Rydia and Kain died after the first Big Bang. So bahamut weren't of any help.

You could always have used the steal till you get Dmatter before using crystal stradegy, it takes a wile to steal but the result is BB is now very weak compared to norm, I also took moths to beat IV

Even so, there really isn't any point in killing them deliberately. If they're too weak to survive, they'll die on their own anyway, and they can do quite a bit of damage if you know what to do with them.

yea kain can do so much damage if u use him right

I've followed my time and true strategy for Zeromus. And it never fails for me.

Oh yea! The item dupe trick is for pussys who want an easy way out and throwing 99 excaliburs at him.

After using the Crystal, heres my strategy.

Cecil: Attack
Kain: Jump or Attack
Rydia: Summon Bahamut
Rosa: Cure 4 the party
Edge: Throw whatever there is. Usually I start off with the Knife you should've gotten if you woke Yang up in the Slyph cave and gave the frying pan back to his wife.

Thats pretty much it..

i always thought she gave you some sort of dagger but i never got it... well anyways if you throw it, it supposedly does all 9's so try it out... BUT SAVE FIRST!!!!
