Could someone clear up something. Caith Sith was made by Reeve from Shinra, but when Caith Sith is killed in the temple of the ancients who takes over? another robot or something? or a real one?

The mog is a soft toy(with some kind of mech, coz it can move), the cat is a robot. Reeve controls the cat at shinra, making it move, talk etc. Via the cat, reeve controls the mog, using the mic(his choice of 'wepion'). At the temple of ancients reeve sacrifices Cait Sith in order to get the black materia(i think), because when done so the tample will shrink and kill all whos inside it, so seen as Cait Sith isnt a living creature it wont matter if it gets crushed. Also, because its just a robot ans stuff it would be a sinch for shinra to make a new one, hence the Cait Sith that appears afterwards. And because reeve as in the safty of shinra(or some thing) he would be able to take control of the new Cait Sith. Simple.

However Cait sith does seem pretty mellow when it's walking to collect the black materia. Why would it be like that if there was no risk whatsoever?

Yes thats wat i also think it is,maybe inside their are likw wires and stuff covered by cotton,so if their is need for a repair it can be done easily.Some teddy bears have zippers on them.
