Don't know if this is happening to anyone else, but since I logged in this morning, opening random links to forum topics or links of the forum menu, even pulling the side scroll bar, prompts

to open in new tab. Very annoying.

Yeah, what the hell is happening? On my side nearly every time I click a link a new tab will open while the old tab redirects me to a different page like this one: Example (
https://seen-on-screen.thewhizmarketing.com/?chid=581&oid=618&subid=218496542615548117&pubid=2677277); don't actually click it. I didn't even know the board had Kotaku level ads like this.

I can confirm. Some pop ups are getting around my abblocker now, though they're still blocked; I just get a pop-up saying it was blocked.
Also, I can't seem to highlight text anymore. Is this happened to anyone else?

I don't know what's the deal with the inability to highlight text, sadly, but as far as redirects are concerned: what Adblocker are you using (and, just in case, may I suggest uBlock Origin)? Try to add these URLs as "content filtered", too:
iyfnzgb.com
horoskopishqip.org
d1lxhc4jvstzrp.cloudfront.net
jquery.su
I just tried clicking on seven different topics and other links contained within, no redirects on my end.

If anyone can do it, I tried to activate NoScript and the text problem is solved.

I tried noscript, but while it fixes the issue, it disables js, so I can't open up the hidden passcodes for megalinks

I activate NoScript only when I need it, if I don't need it I temporarily deactivate it. I know it's a bore.
Try doing as Leon Scott Kennedy suggested, it's quicker if it works, and if you use uBlockOrigin.

What I suggested should hopefully help with redirects, it doesn't fix the issue with highlighting text.

happening here as well, and it's eating my replies....
apparently, not that time.
If you have uBlock Origin, add these to your filter as well (these do not prevent the redirects.):
deloplen.com
viatepigan.com
moowouzy.net
if I find more, I will update this post.

Thanks. This got rid of annoying pop-ups and redirects even on other sites as well for me

I added all mentioned above to AdBlock, though I did not have problems with text selection or other pop-ups, but it did not solve weird random opening of ffshrine logo.png in new tab. Only solution was to block ffshrine completely in NoScript, which unfortunately killed some functionality with bbcode formatting in replies.

Does anyone know how to prevent the redirects or even why it started happening all of a sudden? The board went down a few days ago, I know, but that wouldn't explain the sudden barrage in advertisements. In the very least there doesn't seem to be any malware running amok, but I don't want to come on here and be interrupted by an unskippable commercial like the BS that 2K is known for.

Given the history of this place, some of the oldest members could make educated guesses, but no one besides the domain's owner could give an actual reply to that.
Personally, I think this board has been attacked and compromised once again (hey, in the past visitors have been redirected to a page with a fake recover password/e-mail form, not to mention various DDoS attacks and export of the database).

I had heard the domain expired. Not sure if that's related.

I did resolve the issues, in the end. It was a combition of uBlock filters + this script (

See how it goes for you.

Site still hacked. Can someone fix? The middle clicker does work, but you have to click multiple time for things to happen.
had some weird behavior with the site, couldn't zoom in and out with the page zoom firefox addon, was able to do it if I disabled my script killer, but after doing that, I ended up in some weird page that said trojan detected (WTF), set my script killer to deny ALL scripts from this site and it was fixed... something smells fishy, I hope site admins aren't trying to sneak in some crypto miner or some shit like what happened to fucking 4chan

So, now I'm getting a McAfee trojan detection (I don't have McAfee of any kind), which redirects me to an invalid (
http://forums.ffshrine.org/link_to_your_exe)
So far, only disabling Javascript or blocking ffshrine in my Ublock does this, but doing so means I can't open "spoilers", as they rely on both

Same thing happens to me on Chrome mobile but the link says "link_to_your_apk"
Turning off Javascript makes it go away but it breaks a bunch of things.

Been getting the McAfee trojan fake popup all day then trying to download an exe error, at first I could not even get access to the forum as it would instantly get this fake popup then error screen.
Disabled java (thank you wickedxice) and least managed to get access to the forum.
But if you go to the main site ffshirine.org it actually got to the trying to save an exe to your hard drive (release.exe) then my AV instantly flagged it as Win32/Kryptik.GXDT threat.

I had not visited the main page until I saw what Sera said. I can support what Sera said. If you go to the ffshrine.org, an file will automatically try to download.
Malwarebytes didn't automatically say anything, but I scanned it:
At this point, being on this site is like trying to build something on quicksand. Best to just get out and stay out for a while. It'll either fix itself, or it'll go completely. Redirects/popups were one thing, but maliciuous .exe files (trojan horse? keylogger? cryptocurrency miner? I dunno) are another thing entirely.

Yes very big issue, I have been currently leeching through 1000s of pages of content, parsing through so many dead links and dirty rips to find golden flac files but the task has taken a new turn as the level of difficulty increases (sorry regulars & contribooters) (will give back all in good time ;) but it seems the Administrator has a serious issue on their back-end. Sad day indeed. Disabling Javascript does the trick but makes things a bit more tricky.
Please fix I have not curated such a huge list in Jdownloader only to be stomped by this pesky malware notification from mcafee. If only I knew about this board a long time ago...
While I am out of the shadows I give a special thanks to the uploaders providing these files.

Peeking at the page source reveals that someone straight-up inserted a redirect script, though fortunately whoever did this forgot to replace a couple very important variables.
That said, yeah, I'm gonna peace out too until this gets resolved.
