This is bizarrely interesting and I felt obligated to post it here given that this is FFShrine and all.

Took a listen to the video. Very intriguing. it hasn't come to my attention up till now, and half the work has already been done. So I can't say that I'm about to go out and try to find origins to this.
Very entertaining anyway.
