A Man Could Get Killed is a 1966 adventure comedy film directed by Ronald Neame and Cliff Owen, shot on various locations in Portugal and starring James Garner, Melina Mercouri, Sandra Dee, Anthony Franciosa, and Robert Coote. The fourteen-year-old Jenny Agutter worked on the film but did not appear in the final cut. For his score Bert created one of the best melodies ever written for a film and recorded by hundreds of artists worldwide Strangers In The Night. The overall score to the movie offers a Latin and even seemingly Greek influenced flavour.
The film score was recorded in Hollywood under the baton of Universals Joseph Gershenson. The LP of the score as was so often the case was recorded in London during March to April 1966. As a bonus I have added the classic song made famous by Frank Sinatra. From the original 1/4 stereo master tapes
