I downloaded a 40 GB MKV from the Torrent system. I don't have infinite storage space, and thus I made these much smaller audio only version to add to my VGM archive. These files are a personal edit intended for repeated listening rather than a once off watching. The majority of the tracks are free of any clapping (as an Asperger autist I dislike recordings with crowd noise, coughing, stage noise, breathing inhalation sounds, popping, clicking, and so on).
Lossless Audio 2 channel 24 bit 44KHz edit version: Mega link 1.2 GB =
https://mega.co.nz/#!yexiUCTI!AAAAAAAAAAB1ADi9EcOSYAAAAAAAAAAAdQA4vRH DkmA
Procedure: There were 3 audio tracks on the mkv, all 24bit 96 KHz: one 2 channel flac, a 5.1 channle flac, and a 5.1 channel DTS. At first I tried demuxing the audio with the audio split by chapters, with partial success. Then I found someone recommending the use of Foobar. Foobar enumerated of the the chapters of the 2 channel track, and extracted them losslessly (technically it didn't so much extract them as losslessly reencode, the same as when you use Foobar to split .cue audio files). Then the 2496 files were drop and dragged into Adobe Audition. For each track. I edited and/or faded out most of the clapping and all the speaking, but kept a little of the silence since you can use that as a noise print for Noise Reduction Al-Gore-rythms. Since some tracks were at 0 Dbfs (max volume), I lowered the volume by 1 DB on all tracks (to prevent clipping during resampling), resampled at 100% with pre-Ringing to 44KHz (reduces filesize by 40%, throws away inaudible information), increased gain on all files so the loudest tracks peaked at -0.2 Dbfs. Files were saved at 24bit 44KHz Flac, then I added track names, Metadata, and ReplayGain values (calculated using DbpowerAmp, it uses the EBU algorithm and 0 gain = -18Dbfs).
I will upload an ogg 16 bit transcode in a few days, as well as scans. I just want to be sure this isn't on the DMCA hitlist. 3 strikes you're out with Mega :(
Thanks to VyseLegend for creating the Bluray rip in the first place and starting the torrent: Thread 223950 . There is a flac rip (unedited) mentioned on his page, but I am not sure of what the channel number and bit depth/sample rate rae (its 3 GB in size).
