i was around 80 hours

I blasted through it and landed at 43 hours 15 minutes.

if you mean beating by,having evry1 at max lvl,having master summon,magic, and command materias,and beating all the weapons,
then i beated the game in bout 32 hours 17 minutes

Approx 29 hours and 40 minutes (Saved at the bottom of the North Crater at 29:27).

- Completed Chocobo quest including getting the gifts from Ester
- Completing Battle Arena quest (Omnislash, W-summon, Final Attack)
- Killing both weapons.
- Yuffie's side quest incl. Pagoda

I ended up at around Lvl 76. If I didn't do any side quests, I could blast through it most probably in 20 hours or less.

the fastest time i beat it just going straight through the game, no side quests, no nothing, was about 12 hours... I gotta say that when you do that sephiroth suddenly becomes extremely hard, lol, cuz you don't have any of the cool summons nor are you a really high level.

It took me like 56hrs the first time i played it.But now under 25-30 hrs tops.

my quickest ever was about 11 - 12 hours, but that was without side quests or staying at the golden saucer for hours :P

Around 30 hours, just for the fact to try and get a good time.

I always took me pretty long because I like to level up my characters ^_^

i completed it first time in 59 hrs... i den played it again and finished it in 36 hrs.. when u rush n dnt train Sephiroth is sooooooooooo hard!!

Lv75, and in 29:27:41 at the last possible savepoint before Sephi. I did everything except the master materia quest (which requires mastering every single materia...no thanks).

my fastest time was about 24hours, but that wasn't every side quest, mind you though the only reason I actually completed it in that time was because i did a ff 7 all nighta =)

me and my friend played it non stop over the weekend once to see how fast we could beat it. we beat the final sephiroth at 30 hours 47 min.
and we did a few side quests in the game.

i beat it in 67 hrs and 45 min with almost everything

30 some hours.

my fastest time was 270 someodd hours, i did the whole shebang though.

about 30 hours, and my chars are fairly good...no omnislash tho, i dont have THAT much patience/extra time...im considering getting the 8 master mimes and the 8 master counters and the w- item and using omnislash 8 times on seph er sumthing. or maybe ruby and emerald...

Fastest so far was 86 hours. Level 99 on my team, and mastered Kights.

Well this time around (ie still playing it) im on disk 3 and at 24 hours. And i spent a good 2 hours getting power sources for cloud, 255 str!!
So if beating it means finishing off sephiroth about 25 hours (maybe)

why go through this game fast, but if u must know, 92 hours with doin everything

If you have already been through it slow you may want to go for a speedrun. I did but then i gave up after realising i would miss out on tons of things if I really wanted a quick time.
I still got to costa del sol in 4 -5 hours I think which is quite fast.

Im at like 30 hours and i pretty much have everything i can kill sepiroth at any time, and the guy who said he did it in 12 hours, thats total bullshit, i dont even think thats possible really.

32 hours and 47 min... you could say 33 hours. And its not rushing... you just know what to do...where to train... that helps.

well i am good,but not as good as some though. I beat it in about 26:30, Using Cloud, yuffie and cait sith. All level 53. Sephiroth was a cinch.

First time I played it through I beat it in 33 hours, then I tried doing everything and it took me around 50 hours.

yeah i think about 4 hours of the game was owned by them the fucking chocobo breeding stage. Its a great relief when you see the golden one though. All them hours paid off.

The fastest i ever beat ff7 was 8 hrs and 17 minutes... lol.. didnt finish any quests or kill any weapons hahahahaha

I have beaten it many times in the past but I have to say that the quickest was aroun 20-25 hours. Thats with most of the secret stuff. I think for the record of the longest time though was 99 hours and more. But it only goes up to 99 hours so I dont know exactly how much.

64 hours. That's when I'm on the way to doin everything. My first time actually finishing the game. You guys are freaks with those crazy times...lol...set everything at maximum speed and go through the dialogue quick as and not bothering leveling up until disc 3 in the northern crater and hardly saving bcos that takes up time! 32 hours on first time, what no way did you have the walkthrough or something? it took me 60+ hours first time round and I didn't use a guide. You must be BS there's just no way you got that time first play through it. To get a time like that you need to know where your going.
