I don't know what made me think of this all of a sudden but when i was young and stupid sadly i used a cheat to bring aeris back from the dead -.- bad glitch like all cheats, i could have 2 aeriss and a cloud O_O yea on the final battle i had 7 aeriss O_O crazy stupid damn cheats.

this is children is an example of how cheaters never prosper, now go away and think about what you have learned

I had a gameshark, and after about a week after i bought it, i put it in the bin because all it ever done was mess up my games. o.o

I bought an xploder, which uses AR, Xplorer and GS codes in one disc. The only problem was, when the codes were on, you could'nt turn them off without resetting the console, but if you wanted them back on again, you had to boot up the xploder disc again, took too long to work in the end

It wasn't really the difficulty of the game... people mostly use cheats to revive Aeris. Now their game is screwed. :(

Yeah but having Aeris back is sure to compensate for the screwed up game. I mean. IT'S AERIS, EVERYONE! She's worth every sacrifice, as long as the fanboys still cling on to their hope of getting her into the sack.

I'd rather use a party of ALL THIEVES than bring Aeris back to life! AND I've got the history to prove it!

I also have one, and i agree with you.....plus it just ruins the game.....

I used a cheat on final fantasy 7 to get aload of master matreia, and it worked perfectly nothing messed my game up.

It was good to use knights of the round because i couldnt be bothered with the breeding, it was boring.

Cheats are crap, especially for the FF series.

One time (when I was stupider) I had the PC Version and I downloaded this editor called 'Jenova' and I mastered all my materia, got all the best weapons, tried putting Sephiroth in my party (whenever I want to battle, I was missing a char) And made myself rock, but after 2 weeks of MAJOR editing and MASSIVE cheating, my game got WRECKED! I was so pissed off. So I learned my lesson, never used Jenova again, and I found out that cheating sucks...

Game Genie (old school) would always erase my games. I gave up on cheating and found that I really didn't need to. FFVII was actually a pretty easy game, if you work on building your characters' strength up.

I think I did too much lvling, lvl 54 Cloud at the beginning of disk 2.

Not always. Some cheats just make a game you've beaten for the 20th time a little more interesting (GTA). Back to th subject: The FF series is about skill and patience, not teenagers who suck ass at games; and just want to say that they've beaten a game.
