Rebecca is an American romantic psychological thriller film directed by Alfred Hitchcock, his first American project and his first film under contract with producer David O. Selznick.
Based on the 1938 novel of the same name by Daphne du Maurier, the screenplay was written by Robert E. Sherwood and Joan Harrison.
Stared by Laurence Olivier and Joan Fontaine, with Judith Anderson, George Sanders and Gladys Cooper in supporting roles.
The film won the Oscar for Best Picture and for Best Cinematography, Black-and-White.
According to Discogs (HERE (https://www.discogs.com/Franz-Waxman-Slovak-Radio-Symphony-Orchestra-Adriano-Rebecca-Film-Score-1940/release/4520788)), this album, released in 2005, was re-recorded by Adriano conducting the Slovak Radio Symphony Orchestra, and is not the 2002 edition by Joel McNeely from the V-label (HERE (https://www.discogs.com/Franz-Waxman-Joel-McNeely-Rebecca/release/5825700)).
