Here is the OST for The Patriot.
I'm convinced that Mel Gibson is the greatest actor of this generation. He can do it all. He excels at portraying pain, betrayal, and rage. (Braveheart, Ransom, etc...)
I didn't expect to enjoy this film as much as I did in the summer of 2000. I was blown by it. What a great villain this story had in Jason Isaacs! What cold bastard!
Even more of a surprise that they hired John Williams to score it! I figured they would have gone with David Arnold as they had on their previous films.
Williams wrote such an iconic main theme (what else is new ;)) and the Martin VS Tavington track gets my blood pumping for a fight.
