"I wanted a bigger sound than I knew how to express. Something that was Romantic, but that ebbed and flowed with the sea. John managed to articulate what I felt. As we sat in Abbey Road, listening to the death theme swimming around in the studio, I knew that John had graced the film with a voice even greater than the one which I had been struggling to express"
