I got a very weird bug in final fantasy 5 (from final fantasy anthologys)
I was playing and I had galuf as a level 2 red mage & faris as a black belt. Well, they were both the same level & when i last checked they were at 88/100 points each until the next class level.
Well I got them both to go up a class level. (they both gained a level also, putting them both at level 18) Well now it says i have to get 999 abp's to get another red mage level for galuf. help!! And also I noticed that when galuf got 10 abp (from when he needs 999 abp) that he gained a ability called ????
Oh, this is my first time playing this game too.

wow i've only played FF5 on the snes but havent seen ???? ability, are you using action replay or any cheating device?? also are you playing on an emulator or the real thing, Lastly are you using the real game or an iso. If you are doing any of these most likely the problem.

Well, First of all, I own my own playstation with a blue skin on it. (Not a PS1.) I did use a pro action replay but here's the thing. (I didn't even realize it was on when I booted up the PS.) I was going through it, accidentelly clicked to "make a new game" or whatever it calls it. So after I did that, I saved it (to start playing). While I waited for the game to load up I flicked the action replay switch off (instead of taking it out). And finally yes, I own the real game, I have a version of it, before it went to "Playstation greatest hits".

well my guess was that the AR loaded half of the codes then messed up. Try this either make a new game up till the point where you get your first jobs,Borrow friends memcard if theyve got the game, load from your last save and see if it happens again. Let that be a lessen to you all, only use cheats if you can burninate small villagers anything else isnt worth it lol.

i can assure you it isnt due to the action replay. Because I chose to "start game" not "start game with selected cheats". But I do remember saving a file right before it happened, i havent gotten back to it thanks to gran turismo 2 & final fantasy 4, but I'll try to check it out later this month.

There was a real glitch in my FF6 from Anthology, it was nuts. I was walking around in some cave half way through the game, the sprite turned into the Kappa sprite, spun around and then the screen fucking freaked out, it looked like an acid trip. Then out of nowhere, this CG movie started playing and I got all of the unlocked stuff from when you beat the game whilst still in the middle of it.
I have no idea what happened, but it sure helped me at the colleseum a lot.
I told you that to say that obviously the anthology games were...goofy?

There is a Blue Mage ability called ???? you learn it from the Karnak outside Karnak castle....... It's similar to Gobl Pnch except it will either do Critical Damage, or miss completely. It's the same as the FFVII ability ????

First of all, I dont a flying fuck if you think I should stop cheating at my games or not, especially when I have to for the action replay and the magazines that provide the cheat codes for it.
But one thing is certain, I didn't uncover this glitch by cheating, as I said once before, it's my first time playing through this one, and I had no game selected (I/O, I had NO cheats selected). Plus I flicked the action replay off before I began to load the game. I think you should stop worrying about who wants to cheat at games that cannot connect to internet and mind your own fucking business.

I think we should all just calm down.

Well the only thing left is that you've done something out of the ordinary in the game in a certain order IE:Beaten a momster you shouldnt be able to at that level.....either that or simply your CD/Rom is messed.
