Third album of his that came out this year. FLAC. Due to the zippyshare file size limitations, here is only the "Continuous Mix", a.k.a. the whole album as one track.
However, it was written in a manner of a film score with themes and variations constantly returning during the play. It is literally the same as the following tracks 2-19, only in form of suite, no musical material lost.
What I can add from myself, I kind of hate trailer music and never was a fan of Two Steps From Hell. Bergersen's solo work always felt in the same way: too bombastic and over-the-top, sometimes too bland and generic, too many electronic elements etc. (apart from a few generally awesome cues here and there). But this album has finally sold me: great Americana, a-la Horner/Williams/old school Disney magic. I'm really impressed!
The writing, the much more classical approach, the details in part-writing, orchestrations. Yes, it's massive, but it doesn't sound like Zimmer: not loud, not abnoxious. The problem with western composers (Remote Control) is that their music sounds like it was made on computer using samples and synths (it was), and then transcribed to orchestra, instead of being written for an orchestra in the first place. This is not the case here.
