To me Dungeons and Dragons is a text-based role-playing game. So, who plays it? I certainly do.

Sorry, but D&D isn't the kind of TBRPG we run here. This needs moved to Role-Playing Games as well.

<table><tr><td>
I've played it for a little while, with my brother and some of his friends X_x I prefered doing other things though, 'cause playing that game with them would take like 6 hours on a saturday.. And I can't stand doing the same thing for so long X_x

I've played D&D before, but it's not all that good
WFRP is far better
now, don't get me wrong, D&D is good, but there is one point i want to make
if my memory is correct, in D&D, your THACO goes up when your opponent has more armour on :notgood:
whereas in WFRP armor only stops the opponent being hurt as much:D
by the way WFRP stands for Warhammer fantasy roleplay
by the way, has anyone played weird wars, or tokyo action theatre, i wanna know if there any good before i buy them

711, in 3rd Edition, they got rid of THAC0.

Ive been playing D&D now for 2 and a half months, and havent found anything that didnt make sense. the Armor Class simply means its harder to land a damaging blow on someone....as in, its easier to hurt someone in leather armor than it is to hurt them in Full Plate armor.

I used to (or myabe I still do) play with ym best friend and his parents and their friends. Everyone would be stoned (except for me and my friend, of course). I'm not sure if that makes the game better or what. Anyway, it's...ok...for awhile...nice to play every now..and then...but really, I can't stand to play it for more than an hour.

As for RPG's with other players, I can't find any good ones.

Online games- Aren't too great.

Online RPG (Through IM's and text)- Used to be good, but now newbies have taken over. Example:

GL: ::Slashes opponet::

Newb: ::miss:: ::slashes ur hed off::
Newb: ::did::

Another example:

GL: ::Runs up to opponet::
GL: ::Slashes opponet with Katana::
Newb: hey u moded! cheater!

...Stupid newbies have ruined the Instant Messanger system of RPG. DAMN THEM TO HELL!
