This one had an amazing album presentation as far as cue selection was concerned, but they seemingly had to remove all the choir stems from the program for budgetary reasons and replace them with synthesized versions.
Normally I don't mind too much about this. They did the same with the composer's score for Salt (which came out around the same time as Last Airbender I think) and I thought it sounded fine. But with Airbender things feel like a rushed, last minute patch job: some synth chorus passages sound mono, others are under-mixed or dissolved with the rest of stems and therefore they are barely audible. A shame really, particularly when one hears the score as intended from the bootlegs that later surfaced.
That brings us here. Two bootleg versions for Last Airbender have so far surfaced and are readily available for the taking. They all seem to have the same contents, except one was made available in lossless with synth choir much like the commercial album, and another one surfaced with real choir, albeit in a relatively poor sounding lossy format. I have never seen the one with real choir around in lossless. So in case there was one and I somehow managed to miss it, I thought I'd open a thread and ask if the fine folks of this board happen to have a lossless rip of The Last Airbender with real choir in their collection and they care for a share. I don't mind whether it is complete or not as long as it has all the chorus passages. Even the commercial album program or alike with real choir would be fantastic.
As always, any help is greatly appreciated.
