It`s ok, but i don`t really like beat em ups, but soul calibur is an exception.

Soul Calibur 2 is teh best. -hugs his ps2- Taki and Mitsurugi are my best characters =)

I think Soul Calibur 2 is one of the greatest fighting games ever made, and maybe even the best. The Gamecube version is definately the one to get though, because Link is great in it, compared to that old guy and Spawn.

I never played Soul Calibur 1 (due to the lack of a Dreamcast) I have blade Soul Blade (I think this one kicked off the series on the PS1) and I own Soul Calibur 2 for my PS2. I've played/tried the game on all three consoles and liked the PS2 best, only for controller reasons. The best thing about it is, that it's easy to pick up, but has enough depth to make your own combos and gotta think a little about how to beat your opponents (specially in multiplayer modes). The Story mode is a nice addition and make the game more varied with the various weapons that you can add. (Though once unlocked I think almost everyone will use either the Edge or Calibur weapons).

Soul Calibur 2 is a great fighting game, best on PS2 due to the controller. And I cannot wait for Soul Calibur 3, they're making a create a character mode.

In Sould Calibure 2, I like only Taki and then Xianghua. For Taki, it is like I'm playing Legaia games making combo.

Yoshimitsu and Talim are by far my best players. Heihachi is fun to use because i have masters all 3 of his 10 hit combo moves. :P

Lord you really need to go touch a bare man, cos heihachi is one of the coolest characters. So many combos. I kept pissing my friend off cos i would just keep spin kicking him and he couldnt get me :P

SC2 is one of the most unbalanced, easy to button bash slices of simplicity ever released. It's fun, but it's not amazing.

On a lighter note, if you beat the game with Nightmare without Losing once,you get all three versions of the special characters(Link, Spawn, and Heihachi) I did it on the GameCube version, and got all three of them. The easiest way for me to do it was to beat a mission, then save it right afterwards so I could restart if I died.
