Fact: Doom has its share of platforming and jumping. This among other things inspired one enterprising chap to build a game that's, well, Doom as a Super Mario World-styled platformer. Its name? miniDoom (https://calavera.studio/en/games/minidoom/). The recently released miniDoom 2 (http://calavera.studio/en/games/minidoom2/) is not a sequel, but more a 'director's cut' available for the low, low price of free.
And as proper for a Doom game, it has a face-melting soundtrack; it's available for free as well, but there are options for those wishing to support the composer.
