Writer Ishi'i Jirou has penned several games, which I have collectively dubbed 'Toshi Adventure Series'. It contains Imitation City, Machi, 428 -Fuusa-sareta Shibuya de- and TIME TRAVELERS. Machi has been ranked in Japan as one of the true masterpieces in gaming, but as it has more text than sixteen Holy Bibles no one has ever translated it, even if it has been released on several platforms, like Sega Saturn, Sony Playstation, PSP / PSVita. However, the "sequel" of Machi has finally been confirmed to be released on PS4 this summer! That is, of course, 428 -Fuusa-sareta Shibuya de- (428 -In a Blockaded Shibuya-, now known as Shibuya Scramble). This game is one of the then rare games to net the perfect score 40/40 in Famitsuu. I have tried to play Machi, but it is simply overwhelming in Japanese. The OST of Machi is brilliant, and I may share it with all gamerips (the game has over 12 hours of music) sooner or later. I also have all gamerips for 428 (PSP, Wii and PS3), but here is the official, original soundtrack of Fuusa-sareta Shibuya de by Sakamoto Hideki and Satou Naoki. 2CDs (mp3). Enjoy.

I am THRILLED that this game will be translated in English and sold in Western territories!! I'm officially declaring here that I will buy at least two copies of this game just to support... Who knows, maybe we can see a port of Machi some day too if 428 sells well! Yay!

This game is so awesome I can't find words for it... Seriously, 428 is a true masterpiece, it's already my favourite VN ever. If you miss 428, you will miss everything. Too bad it was released in bad time, with many "AAA" releases (with all of them being worse than 428) around the same time... But hey, at least it WAS released, and I am more than happy about that!

Seriously, that 40/40 from Famitsuu wasn't a fluke, it's a real deal. The best game in English atm, ever. EVER.

I've been trucking away at a whole bunch of VNs that I missed back in the day so this release couldn't have been more appropriate for me.

I must say I am ashamed... I put 428 on hold for some time, but I finally picked it up again!! I was terribly stuck but then I found my way to next "Hour", and I must say I love this game so much... It is a masterpiece truly.
