I ripped the score from some deleted scenes (the more major/important ones) from the 5.1 channels (removing all the dialogue and most SFX), so there are SFX ranging from nothing to minor to noticeable.

Rey Runs - 01:28
Caretaker Party - 00:26
That Old Legend You Hate So Much - 00:20
The Fathiers Segments - a collective 3 minutes
The Stables / The Fathers / Need a Lift? Complete Extended Track - 08:11
Rose and Finn Go Where They Belong - 00:26

You can find them on Youtube, but these are all in FLAC.

The Caretakers scenes go after Second Lesson, before Godspeed Rebels - Rey Runs starts with the Rey's Theme statement at the end of Second Lesson, and That Old Legend can nicely be transitioned to the timpani rolls that accompany the transition in the film. Caretaker Party goes between them, or the fadeout can be overlapped with the beginning of That Old Legend.

Finn and Rose Go Where They Belong would fit somewhere after they escape the Supremacy, probably before Long Live the Supreme Leader.

The Fathiers I've recreated and included because it's the most complicated.

You can actually use ffmpeg to do cuts as you need...

This is literally just another long line of shit edits on account that literally no one on Shrine knows what to do...

The quality is not ideal because it's a bloody 5.1 rip sometimes only utilizing the back channels. That's not gonna sound great no matter what fancy software requiring 3 college degrees you use.

I do have ffmpeg for Audacity, by the way. And this IS the best I could fucking do right now. This is just a hobby, I don't have time to learn anything else, and why would I when Audacity is perfectly fine? Ungrateful nitpicker asshole.

It's proven that Audacity uses deprecated versions of FFMPEG for input.
When you want EXPORT with ffmpeg, who cares what the version is.
But importing, the devs don't want to go down that road.
I've asked them on their own forum and they've said as much.
It largely comes down to them re-writing the entire base code to do better than the nightlies you can get (for free) from the Zeranoe website.\

Audacity is an ancient tool, and the devs know it.

Buy or pirate Magix SoundForge 11. (Not 10, which is cheaper if you go by "SoundForge Studio"...)
Sony sold out to Magix. So, Vegas Pro even goes out to Magix changelogs.
Some promo sites selling keys for PRO will acturally sell keys to just RO. So read all info first...

You can use anything for the output, but they're so behind on times, they don't even want to try compete with modern standards. I've asked them on their forum. And they answered.

It's not me.
It's assholes like these uploaders who pass off overbloated shit as "High Quality" standards.

All of this can easily be trimmed and cut with FFMPEG while retaining original audio quality instead of this FLAC overbloated shit, which is obvious when you listen to it, btw.

This isolated score, btw, is only available to residents with a USA IP address, which nullifies most of Shriner's user database, by default.
Even then, it's not provided in FLAC or any other lossless format, as other "ungrateful nitpicker asshole"s have put it.

There's clear evidence that it comes from a shit lossy source so using FLAC is completely useless.

Breaks in the track can easily be accomplished in FFMPEG.
You don't need shit NLE editors like Audacity (centuries outdated), to do anything fancy.
FFMPEG can do the same.

So excuse my high horse in technical proficiency and learning the caveats of such shit technology that is available to the public.

---------- Post added at 11:19 AM ---------- Previous post was at 11:15 AM ----------

PS: it also doesn't take a lot of "learning".

the source is lossy.
So just crop the audio to a new "CONTAINER".
Then you'll be set.

Just keep a copy of the log in case someone doesn't trust you.
We're all human, and no one's perfect (look at Audacity...).

The learning curve is extremely small, compared to other things,.
So if you can't hack it here, then you belong nowhere.

This is not from the isolated score, this is from the deleted scenes. I have no idea how and from where the video files I used came from. The isolated score, because it's only streamed, is relatively shitty if not streamed on a HDCP device, but it's more complicated to record it properly from a HDCP device. The isolated score upload we got here (the original, not the separated files) is pretty much the best quality you can reach on PC.

I've never had any problems with Audacity, and I will never look past it if all you do is ramble on without any aim or any proper comparison, probably blowing inconsequential differences 98% of humanity couldn't hear way out of proportion.

Wow. No it is not. Even the Great SonicAdventure weighed on the lossy quality of of the original format before the FLAC transcode.
Which is obvious.

if all you do is ramble on without any aim or any proper comparison

I have asked them, openly, on their forum if they can upgrade their FFMPEG code, and all they said is that it would require them to change the entire code for Audacity, which no one would do for free.
You can google.
I asked them about FFMPEG updates when they were important, and they only emphasized on import formats and how limited they were.

I am very profound and proficient in what I speak.
I'm not an asshole that pretends to read the Hydrogenaudio forums then make a name for myself by adhering to some childish dogma by John Williams.
I'm not that senile.

Instead of saying:

"You can actually use ffmpeg to do cuts as you need...

This is literally just another long line of shit edits on account that literally no one on Shrine knows what to do... "

You could say:

"Perhaps you aren't aware of this but you can use ffmpeg to do the cuts as you need. Just a suggestion to make it better."

The way you said it was kinda dickish.

Oh ick. I forgot you were active here.

you're like the boss that tries to get on everyone's goodiside, but none will tell you that you're worse than a "Dad joke".

I've found it never pays to say something nice.
People will walk over you and retort with something irrelevant, or even try to refute things without knowing.

I, of course, do know in this instance, so someone took it upon themselves to try say otherwise.

If I didn't say it dickish, we'd be running in circles holding each other's dicks being complimentary and trying not to offend anyone.
We'd be the worst dicks imaginable: doing things that don't matter except to save face for some imaginary status that has no bearing on our true selves.

I can't speak for your personal life but your Shrine reputation precedes you...

For good reason, too.
I won't praise people who follow their hearts ("good intentions") if they're not willing to lean that the heart can just die out on itself.

But, other things aside, people expect too much.
They're not a basis for any measurement if they're going to be realistic.

My Shrine reputation is that I know the shit I talk about. "Nice" or not.
"Could have said it X" doesn't earn you any points. Unless you're kissing ass.
If my ass you want to kiss, you can kiss something else for favor points.

Can someone keep this thread on track and maybe just post an idea of where these deleted scenes would fit in the track order/chronology of the film?
Or, in other words, are there clear hints in the clips as to where they'd go? Because it's not that obvious ofc ;)
