I'm totally, totally agree with you.
"Alexander" is my holy grail, one of my all-time favorite soundtracks. I'm truly fell in love with that music.
In my opinion, it is one of the best works, that Vangelis ever did. Powerful, great and gorgeous masterpiece,
unique achievement of composer's career.
I really can't understand, why people so crazy with thousands of "Blade Runner" bootlegs, while "Alexander" soundtrack
is unfairy overlooked. Oliver Stone's complete director's version, called "Alexander: Revisited - The Final Cut" giver us
concept, how much music missed on the original release.
I know something ubout "Alexander" bootlegs...
FYC Edition is similar to the original Sony album, but there are no "Roxane's Veil", "Immortality" with alternate outro and
two short exclusive tracks.
2CD Expanded Edition is recombination of original album tracks with some alternates and trailer music by X-Ray Dog.
Also, there are three of four similar bootlegs with a lot of SFX, made by deleting cenral channel from 5.1 sound of DVD or Blu-Ray.
In fact, complete SFX version of theatrical film cut presented on 2CD "Storm Records" edition. It much better than others, but it is
very rare today (limited of 300). You can find some short pieces from that release on Youtube.

Eleven years left since releasing "Alexander: Revisited", but my fingers still crossed for official complete edition or good bootleg, huh.
