The reason I started this thread, is because I just got Goldeneye Rogue Agent for the PS2, which while good in it's own way, I feel that Goldeneye on the N64 (Movie tie-in), was the best one I've played. But that's just me.

Killzone. I know I'll probably get castrated for that, but I liked it much better than fucking Halo. HALO FUCKING SUCKS!!!!!

For me, it's Red Faction. Damn good game. Very well-paced. The railgun was hella fun.

Heh, classic Doom for me. I play it a whole lot on zDaemon. Nothing beats an old deathmatch Doom style. Fast paced hectic action.

Half-Life 2.

Easily...nothing else comes close in terms of storyline, action, or graphics.

I love playing Perfect Dark, and really should get around to it more often. I like it better than Goldeneye. And Halo 2 of course. I don't care for the single-player mode, but I just love playing that game online; and kicking Lee's ass.

007: Goldeneye (Nitendo 64) is my favorite First-Person Shooter at the moment; I have some awesome memories of sitting a round in my room with the guys, shooting each other's heads off in the game's sweet quadruple-player mode.

Okay; I know that the second sentence above sounded kind of gay, but please, don't take it that way.

HL2, Doom (especially on zDaemon and CTF), and Unreal Tournament. Unreal Championship 2 would also be on the list but it isn't really a FPS.

I liked perfect dark for the n64 mainly due to the different weapoms on offer and some of the old goldeneye levels available on that one as well.

Halo 2, the multiplayer is amazing.

The multiplayer moves for halo 2 was alright, but got old real quick. one of the other reasons why I prefer Goldeneye for N64, it's the only FPS where you can shoot someone in the back of the head, with a watch laser! LOL

Also, Doom and Doom 2 had some fond moments for me, particularly the Simpsons patch for Doom 2 (A custard pie launcher replaces the rocket launcher), the Army of Darkness patch (Only Ash's quotes from the movie and sounds of his boomstick replaces the sound of the shotgun) and the Aliens patch (All weapons become weapons from the movie aliens, as do the enemy sprites.).

On second thought... I guess I'm a fan of all FPS... they allow me to relieve my anger by making the enemy become little balls of goo on the ground, and imagining they were people I know. Heh, heh, heh.

Counter strike source/Half Life 2

i love red faction 1, it is what i think is the best, being able to blow 100 feet tunnels in real life with a rocket launcher then through a mine on someone watch them run to then mates for help and press the button 2 kill all in sight is just brilliant, red faction 2 was crap, however other then red faction 1, i like golden eye, perfect dark and more recently i have been playing XIII, i just love that comic style shooting and the great animation when you through the knifes in the enemies heads.

Personally it's got to be either Time Splitters 2 or Golden Eye. I don't play FPS's much, but when I do, it has to be either these two.

I dont play many, but Halo2 on XBox Live is fun as hell...

Oh, Timesplitters 2 how could i have forgotton that one its a classic.

For me, I like Dark forces 2. Concussion Rifle!! Force Destruction! Another Fps is Cs, though i suck terribly at it.

Half-Life 2....I cannot describe in words how complete this game is.


But Goldeneye for N64 will always hold a special place in my heart.

Enemy Territory hands down. The most fun I have had playing a FPS, ever. And it is FREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE :)

Half-life 2 wins hands down for me! it was an amazing game! couldnt believe it when i saw the graphics and the detail! oh and the expressions on the characters faces! absolute genius! and without half-life 2 there would be no Counter-strike: Source! now thats a FPS to beat! no multiplayer FPS will ever come close to beating CS: Source!

Except for Tribes, of course.

Battlefield 1942 is incredibly fun, but for multiplayer action, I think Medal of Honor and Red Faction 2

Wolfenstien 3D. I like it more than doom, its slightly more believable i suppose! (yeah i know shit excuse! :) )

For me it's Perfect Dark, sublime in both Single Player and Multi Player.
