WHAT IS THIS?

96 tracks comprising all of the music from the original Star Fox SNES games. To this day there is nothing like them and arguably none of the other Star Fox games even come close to the seemingly endless, brilliant and memorable melodies in these soundtracks.

In 2012 I remastered both Star Fox and the then currently-unreleased Star Fox 2. It sounded okay. Fast forward to today and by some miracle Star Fox 2 has been released (took you long enough, Ninty), and I have re-remastered the soundtracks. This time, they sound incredible.

These are from-scratch re-rendering of all the songs in both games, save for a couple of (still!) missing pieces in the Star Fox 2 RSN. e.g. Underwater Fortuna and the Star Wolf Defeated vamp. I took these from my previous master and remastered them. All of the "medleys" are re-edited to be much cleaner, and some are re-arranged for a better listening experience. Suffice to say, I recommend a player that supports gapless playback.

There are some repeated versions of some pieces in the RSN files used, but I considered them redundant or so inconsequential that they were not worth including. Star Fox 2's RSN is, again, still completely missing some pieces entirely.

As always I aim to provide a top-quality listening experience of remastered classic game soundtracks and this one of the truly greatest soundtracks gaming has to offer. This was another huge project so I hope you enjoy.

Try downloading again. That kind of issue happens if there is too much error correction happening during the download, or your storage device has issues and may need a CHKDSK / fsvk / disk check etc.
