Uragano, a 1979 Dutch film, follows the desperate love story between a young Samoan and an American painter while a hurricane looms on the horizon. Also on this CD are 11 tracks from 1957�s Italian drama �La Diga Sul Pacifico,� with a typhoon threatening the livelihood of French Colonists trying to eke out a living in 1930�s Indochina. The film is also known as �This Angry Age� but was released in the US as �The Sea Wall,� named for the wall the family builds to hold back the tidal surge from ruining their crops. Rota�s score for Uragano is stereo, but mono for the other.
