I first discovered Interpol through Silent Hill 3, and Ive been a huge fan ever since. Their music is phenomenal, its fresh, and its got style/uniqueness to it. I dont just love their music, but I also enjoy the meanings behind a lot of the songs. Its all very well expressed. I love how the bass player stands out in this band. The beginnings to Evil, and Slow Hands are just excellent. Also I love Pauls voice, he brings a mellow yet melancholy feel to the lyrics. Anyways, what are your thoughts on them? Have you heard of them? Etc.

How are they related to Silent Hill 3? I haven't played any of them since Silent Hill 2.

But yeah, I like Interpol. Don't have any albums but I like the 3 or 4 songs I've heard on the radio. I really like Evil, especially the clip with that freaky floating puppet boy.

I like some Interpol. They remind me a bit of The Beta Band, which is a great thing.

I'm not as into them as a lot of people seem to be, though.

Can't really get into them. Too whitebeltish for me. =(

My crazy friend Josh is into them though. He is becoming an INDIE HIPSTER.

Very, very influenced by Joy Divison, even Pauls' vocals sound so similar to Ian Curtis'. Interpol are all right, nothing too special, not as ground-breaking as Joy Divison, but they've bought out some good songs.

They were on the soundtrack.

wtf is "whitebeltish" =/

anyways, Interpol are one of those bands that are moderately popular but it's still okay to like and retain my indie nerd cred.

I guess now theyre starting to hit the mainstream, more in certain areas, and less in others. I remember when I heard them a couple of years back; theyve come so far. <3

I love interpol, Antics is such a gret album... with titles like "Narc" and "Public Pervert", how could one go wrong?

I really like Interpol. There songs are so original, but I do think they sound the same on almost every song. It's a good sound, but if you heard one song, your heard em all. Artists should reinvent themselves once in awhile, right?

Everyone who hasn't seen the video for "Evil" should, you'd be converted right there. Who doesn't love puppets involved in crashes?
