LP rip has been shared here, but does anyone have the new Kritzerland CD edition they can rip? It would be much appreciated.

Once again limited to users who've shared links - others will be ignored...

I am sorry you feel that way. It's not my intention to be unreasonable, but I don't believe it's asking a great deal for someone to contribute something to the forum during eight years. I myself don't have the means to purchase all of the scores I want, but I make an effort to contribute as much and as often as I can to give back for all of the great music that others have shared. That doesn't make me an "elitist."

Because albums should be shared with everyone and Filmscorefan, it's not your files, the files belong to the label, you have no right to share it so it's not "yours", the files belong to internet now.

I never claimed to own the files, but I took the time and energy to rip the CD and scan the artwork. I'm not aware of a rule that says that we can't limit sharing to those who have contributed. Perhaps you can enlighten me. Are you an administrator or a moderator? What gives you the right to steal my posts after the fact then re-post them openly like this? I am asking you respectfully to stop doing it and to remove this link and The Great Race.

Thank you. I've recently discovered John Scott's music and am glad this is being shared here without conditions.

May I chime in and respectfully ask you to reconsider your sharing restrictions, or at least apply them only to yourself and not expect others to follow suit with your restrictions? Why not just be content to limit your own sharing and not concern yourself if others are adopting your new rules?
I get the impression that every time you do that, someone will start a new request thread and someone will eventually share the files, and you'll get annoyed again. Sharing music is what this site is all about. It's gonna happen. You don't lose anything from further shares. They don't affect you at all. I'm honestly baffled by your request/expectation that everyone adopt your personal rules.

His rule is not the philosophy of FFS, it's the only one to do that.

Sally4me, you're missing the point of the disagreement, which has nothing to do with me insisting that everyone follow my rules for sharing. It would be one thing if fatalracing purchased the CD, made a rip of it, scanned the booklet, and shared it on his own...but that is not what he is doing. He is taking MY RIP and MY SCANS and re-posting them in an open thread (without password protection) despite my request that he not do this. He then laughs in my face about it. So, I see it as a matter of disrespect on his part. Fortunately, a moderator has told him to discontinue the practice.

Thanks for responding. I'm still rather baffled by the thing. I would have thought the only person who had the right to ask for a removal was the copyright holder. I just don't understand the claim of ownership over a rip and scans, especially on a site that exists to violate copyright.

He is pretty ridiculous these albums are available on many places, no clues it was his files , he is not the only one who got these CD.
The best way to him is to stop sharing if he can't live with the internet jungle and to finish , he is violating the label's rules so that's so funny, he has nothing to say!

Well, we're never going to agree, so there's no point in debating it further. I was the original poster of the files, which I ripped and scanned and was willing to share under a condition. Fatalracing is the ridiculous one for stealing the files under false pretenses and re-posting them after the fact. Case closed.

I will continue to do that outside FFS, your "files" is not yours so you have no right, the only right you have is the physical CD who belong to you, for the rest you are violating DMCA as every one here, don't be so naive and if it's a problem for you that guys reshare your violated DMCA stuffs, stop sharing.
I have really nothing against you but it's like you are discovering the internet jungle, btw, your elite rule is not the aim of FFS, if you were sharing with everyone, this ridiculous drama will have not happened.
