THE EPISODE
Barry and team are surprised when Mon-El and Hank Henshaw arrive on their Earth carrying a comatose Supergirl who was whammied by the Music Meister. Unable to wake her up, they turn to Team Flash to save her.
However, the Music Meister surprises The Flash and puts him in a similar coma, one that Team Flash can’t cure. Kara and Barry wake up without their powers in an alternate reality where life is like a musical and the only way to escape is by following the script, complete with singing and dancing, to the end.

THE SOUNDTRACK
Benoist set a high bar right out of the gate with her soulful rendition of "Moon River."
That was followed with a wonderfully staged and choreographed version of "Put a Little Love In Your Heart."
Rachel Bloom's "Super Friends" was a charming little tune that really made the most of the warm bond Kara and Barry have built up over the past year.
Then there was recent Oscar-winners Benj Pasek and Justin Paul's "Runnin' Home to You," the only musical number to actually unfold in the real world. That was a strong and emotionally stirring way to wrap things up, and easily the most romantic scene between Barry and Iris on the show to date.
