About the only film quote I still recall off the top of my head is the verse that Winston repeats,


"Under the spreading chestnut tree

I saw you,

You saw me..."


It's been so long since I last watched the film that I've mostly forgotten all the "slang" they use in Oceania.

Oceania is akin to The Village, with it's own separate cultural identity and linguistic idiosyncrasies. This is what comes in living isolated from the rest of the globe.
